I found these cute little jars and my local grocery store for $2.48 ea and thought they would be perfect with our rub-ons. Took me 10 minutes tops to complete each jar. The tags are also rub-ons. These are 2 different sets of rub-ons. The jar with the Riding Hood Red Grosgrain ribbon is the Word Flurries and the Kiwi Kiss Grosgrain ribbon is the Season Of Cheer both found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I also used the Red Hemp Twine to attach the tag to the ribbon, and the Curly Label & Large Oval punches for the tags. I'm going to fill these up with home made peanut brittle and peanut butter cups for gifts. Every year I make peanut brittle for my Husband and the peanut butter cups for my goodie trays. I've never heard of anyone else making home make peanut butter cups before, have you? They are so easy and the recipe makes a ton.
Here is the "Bag in a Box" (or is it Box in a Bag, never can remember). I used the Ski Slope DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog, Shimmer White for the scallop edge (you can't tell in the photo), black and silver c/s. I used the Santa from Deer Friends. The buttons are Earth Elements & Neutrals. The ribbon is Real Red Striped Grosgrain. Another easy project to hold some of your home made or store bought goodies in for Christmas.
Andrea Walford is sharing several projects for her Holiday Blitz Event and this is one of them. This is a great gift item. The gift card goes on the left and the hot cocoa goes on the right. When I took this photo I didn't have any not cocoa to put in the pocket. I used the Ski Slop DSP, Baja Breeze, Whisper White & Chocolate Chip card stock. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip Double Stitched Grosgrain. I won this roll at convention and have been hoarding it every since. Not sure why. I used the snowflake in versamark (can't really see it in the photo) and the saying in Chocolate Chip, both from the Holiday Collection (County Living promotion, going on right now). Check out Andrea's blog and see the other projects she is sharing. She gives the best directions with photos, which is good for me since I am a visual learner.
These triangle boxes are so much fun to make. I found the directions on Splitcoast, Beate Johns has a tutorial. Then on Samantha Parisi's blog I found the Santa & Rudolf. I changed the ears, antlers, and the eye lashes on Rudolf. He turned out pretty cute if I don't say so myself. No stamping on these babies, just punches and the swirls Sizzix die. I just checked Samantha's blog and now she has an angel using the triangle box. Very cute too.
I found these cute little candy holders on Amy's Addiction.( You need to go back to May 22, 2008 for her directions) Each of my club members received one of these babies from me this month. The Designer Papers I used are: Holiday Treasures, Juntos (found in the Spanish Catalog), Urban Garden (my favorite) and Autumn Vine found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. These are so fun and easy to make. Inside you put the Hershey's Sticks. Three of them works the best. The sentiment is Best Yet, Hostess level one set. I love this set and I'm going to sorry when it is no longer available mid-January.
This is the card I made for my granddaughter, Gianna's second birthday. I can't remember who's blog I found it on. Gianna loves Elmo, so it was a hit. My daughter ordered one of those cupcake cakes for her birthday. They are great. No cutting, just break the cupcakes apart and serve. And the kids love cupcakes more than a piece of cake anyway.
I love making these Pillow Boxes. The first one I used the Holiday Treasures DSP. I punched the window using the Wide Oval Punch and put a piece acetate in its place. Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain ribbon and Red Hemp Twine secures the tag which is from Only Ovals, stamped twice, once in Riding Hood Red and then again in Old Olive, cut out and raised with dimensionals. The other one is cut out of acetate and wrapped with Haiku DSP. Tango Tangerine holds it all together. I stamped the label using the Cut & Curly stamp set, stamped in Olive Old & then again in Tango Tangerine and punched out with the small oval punch. Give Thanks is from Fancy Flexible Phrases, (retired).
Here are the last 2 cards we did for November's SAS. I threw in a Thanksgiving card at the last minute. I really wanted to use my new Sizzix Leaves die. So this is what I came up with. The card base is Really Rust with a strip of Chocolate Chip that is torn. The leaves are cut out using the Autumn Vine DSP that is in the Holiday Mini catalog. I sponged everything in Chocolate Chip added the Linen Thread tied in a bow and stamped the greeting from Holidays & Wishes stamp set.
The other card we used the Carousel Notes with the Ski Slope DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog and stamped the tree in Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. Used Baja Breeze and a dauber to color around the tree. Punched the corners with the ticket punch and tied a piece of Chocolate Taffeta ribbon to finish it off. I also sponged around the Carousel Note card.
Here are the first 3 cards we did this month for my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack. First card was cased from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. I just changed the main stamp to Big on Christmas as I didn't have the one she used. Wish I did. Dawn used Holiday Lineup. Just couldn't justify another Christmas stamp set. The second one uses Deer Friends (love that hostess set) and Best Yet (another hostess set), Ski Slope DSP and Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain ribbon. I added a small Felt Flurrie, which is in the Holiday mini catalog. I totally cased this card, but can't remember who. I love how the snowman is attached to the inside of the card and you can see it through the front by punching a 1 /3/8" circle. And the last one is using Snow Swirled again and Sincere Salutations stamp sets. I embossed the snowflakes using Versamark and white embossing powder, then used a dauber and inked around each snowflake with Baja Breeze. I added some Dazzling Diamonds, using the 2-way glue pen, added Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain ribbon and stamped the greeting. 
Isn't this cute? I saw one similar on someone's blog, and of course I can't remember who. I changed the way she did the hat and the flower. I cut a piece of black & whisper white using the Sizzix Top Note. Cut off half of the black piece at the points in the middle, added a piece of black c/s, 4 1/8" x 1" to make the rim. The flower is from the Birds & Blooms die. Those are cut in Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss for the inside of the flower and the leaves. The eyes are made using the 1"circle punch in whisper white, sponged with Going Grey and the center of the eyes are 3/4" circle punches in black. The nose is Pumpkin Pie cut with the large star. I just cut one of the points off. I then sponged around the Whisper White with Going Grey and added it to a basic card in Whisper White. The sentiment is from, Best Yet and stamped with white craft ink.
A couple of weeks ago I was checking out Dawn's Stamping Thoughts and she had this video on how to make these cute little candy holders. They are so easy to make and don't take a long time to make. These would be really cute if you were doing a craft fair. 
This is my first card using Michelle Zindorf's brayer technique since I took her class a week ago. I wanted to make my friend Cindy a special Birthday card (her birthday is November 8th, hey, I'm even early) using this technique. Not too bad for a rookie........
Check out these 2 cards we made a Cheryl's Stamp-a-Stack. The first one is a criss cross card using the Sizzix Pennant Die and the Top Note die. We used the reindeer from Deer Friends and added the eyes that move and a red nose. Riding Hood Red ribbon completes this card. I almost forgot to add the Holiday Treasures DSP.
