Covering 5/8" Brads

We made this flower at Patty's, Luv 2 Stamp meeting last month. The flowers are from the Pretties Kit and then we covered the 5/8" brad with dsp (Designer Series Paper). The smaller flower was cut out from Stampin' Up's! Birds & Blooms die (and the Big Shot, of course. If you don't have one of these babies, oh, you need one!), using the Presto Patterns dsp (page 15 of the Summer Mini). You can check out her tutorial here. I cut out a Top Note (Big Shot Die) and ran it through Stampin Up's! Square Lattice embossing folder, (page 24 in the mini). It gives the paper so much texture. Added a piece of Dusty Duringo Grosgrain ribbon and added the sentiment from In a Word, (page 10 in the mini). I stamped the US in Expresso (new color coming out July 1st) and layered it on Marvelous. This was a pretty fast and simple card.
