| So today I was coming home from the gym......and this is what I saw, peacocks! The cars were waiting while they crossed a busy 4 lane street. There was over a dozen of them. I have no idea where they came from. I didn't get a photo of them all, wish I had. |

| And here is my "assistant" Walter. Apparently our trip to Costco just exhausted him so much, he needed to rest his head on the bag of potatoes we bought. Normally he would have been resting in my sons lap......but Walter wasn't being a good boy like he usually is.........just didn't want to be on his leash....Silly boy! |
Ooooh, those are wild turkeys. I can't believe they were out in the open like that.

Yes, those are turkeys. They are showing up in Rockford, IL on busy streets too. They are more plentiful this year due to the mild spring. The babies didn't die from hypothermia as usual. This is what the report was on the news just today! Beth
