Secret Stamper....Again!

My Secret Stamper is at it again! Check out this beautiful card.

First she did that new (or old) technique that I think is called "triple stamping". You cut all your vanilla cardstock, lightly adhere together, and stamp all three pieces, then take them apart and add a mat to each one. So cute!
She used the World Treasures Stamp Set and those fabulous Dahlias. It also looks like she used markers to ink up the Peacock in all of the In Colors.
Thanks so much Miss Secret Stamper........

Get Out Your Stampin' Misters!

This is my card that I've done for Patty Bennett's Stampin' Misters technique. I had cut out some snow flakes and kept the negative for this technique. I had some issues with the Spritzer, which I'm sure were all "operator" error......

This color (Pool Party) is way out of the box for me as a Christmas Card. I filled my Mister bottle up about 3/4 of the way with Rubbing Alcohol, a few drops of Pool Party Re-inker and a little of Champagne Shimmer Mist paint. Shook it up and laid my snowflakes on another sheet of Vanilla cardstock. Now this is the part that was making me crazy....make sure you spray into the garbage can to make sure your mist is coming out in a mist and not a straight line, then mist over the snowflakes. You should have beautiful snowflakes on your cardstock.

I mounted my snowflakes onto a Pool Party card front, added some gorgeous Crumb Cake Tulle Ribbon and tied it in a bow. Even if you can't tie a bow, you will be able to with this stuff. I stamped the ornament in Pool Party Ink and then with a sponge dauber added some of the Champagne paint over the top, cut out with the Framelits that match this stamp set and mounted it on a dimensional, added the Bakers Twine and a Merry Christmas.

I have several items that you will be able to purchase on the 1st, (come on now, its only a couple more days).

Snow Flurry Die
3 1/2" Crumb Cake Tulle Ribbon
Ornament Keepsakes, & Petite Pairs stamp sets
Holiday Ornaments Framelits die
Pearls
Stampin' Misters

This is my cat, Haley, helping me.......

Here is Haley again, drinking from my craft room sink (only). Apparently the water we have in a bowl isn't fresh enough.......She will sit and wait for me to turn the facet on for her.

2012 Convention Highlights

For those of you who aren't demos or didn't get to go to Convention, check out this video! This is why I LOVE STAMPIN' UP!

On the first day of convention, all the employees from the home office high fived us as we were entering Main Stage on a "Red" carpet, with lights and flags. It was AWESOME! They cheered us all the way too! Going to convention is something you have to experience to totally feel the excitement. We have break out classes, stamping demonstrations, lots of samples to take photos & fun just checking in with people we haven't seen since the year before. It is truly a GREAT experience.
Stampin' Up! is having another great "sign up" special next month. Stay tuned. I would love for you to join my team. Can't wait until next month, join here and click the "Join Now" button on the right top of my Demo web site.

Stampin' Up! Convention Song

Check out this video made at the Home Office of Stampin' Up! Almost all of these people are from Stampin' Up! Wouldn't this be a great place to work?

Convention Photos

I know I'm late to the party, but I will be sharing some photos from convention this week. I took over 700 photos, so I won't be sharing everything with you. You may have already seen some of these on other blogs.

First I have to say, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Angie Juda on Tuesday along with a couple of other gals (I didn't get a photo....darn it, Roxy & Lorie) & Patty Bennett. We had so much fun walking around the new mall next to the Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake. I felt like I was walking around with "royalty".

Here is Patty & Ruth Bingle finding out they got Founder's Circle which is when you are in the top 100 in sales you get an all expense trip with all of the 100 gals to St. George in Utah and a purse. It was so exciting for them. I want to be them when I grow up!

Here is the bag we got when we checked in on Wednesday. It has so many pockets I could NEVER find anything. Notice the flower pin (on my left shoulder) and the earrings? Those were a couple of gifts. Thank you, Lisa for the Pin, & Jan for the earrings. They matched my outfit perfectly!

This is in the "gathering place". Where all the samples are on display. It really wasn't crowded yet.

Gorgeous flowers made with dsp.

Isn't this a cute scrapbook page?

Fabric Flowers.

Rosettes made with the Rosette Die. These were HUGE! Check back tomorrow, more to come.

From the Heart Card

This is a card I sent to my new cyber friend Carol Mathews. She wrote up a tutorial for the gorgeous ornament on the front of the Holiday Catalog.  Shhh, don't tell her she is also getting one of my Rose Pins.

I'm really loving the From the Heart Stamp Set.  Its the perfect saying for my new cyber friend. You'll notice that I used the Window Framelits again. You will be able to order this on August 1st. Not sure why my colors are so off. The card base is Real Red cardstock, Summer Smooches dsp, and Tempting Turquoise cardstock. You will also notice the paper piercing on the Window Framelits. Stampin' Up! has done it again, you will be able to purchase the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack on August 1st too.

This is the inside of my card. I used the Window Framelits again, but cut the bottom off so it would fit inside. The flower is from Summer Silhouettes. I hope she likes the card and rose pin........

More Sneak Peaks & Swap Card

When I saw Wendy Cranford's post on how to do this quilt card, I knew it would be perfect for this stamp set, dsp & Framelits dies & for a swap card. She also has a video on how to make the quilt part of the card.
Here are some of the new things I used:
Orchard Harvest dsp
Perfectly Preserved stamp set (set of 14)
Cannery Set Framelits Dies,  (set of 7)

I am super excited about this dsp, stamp set & Framelits Dies.  This card was so easy to do, no cutting except for the strips for the quilt part. All the other pieces were cut out with the Cannery Set Framelits. This set has corn on the cob, apples, cherries, 2 flowers, stem & two word stamps.
Here is another funny; When I ordered this in my pre-order (a perk of being a demo, you get to pre-order a month before the catalog goes live)I ordered it in French by mistake, but I wanted to use it for one of my swaps. So whats a girl to do? So I just won't use the word stamps, I can live with that!

Sneak Peek Doubles as a Swap Card!

This is a sneak peak from the Holiday Catalog, (goes live August 1st). Its also one of my swap cards for convention. I have a little funny I will share with you. This embossing folder is new and I didn't realize it had a top and bottom. So I get 20 swaps done, with my info on the back and then realize,

the Christmas Tree is upside down....What?

So I had to turn the center piece the other way, which was no big deal, but then my info on the back is upside down.......oh well.....

So you will notice several new items on my card.
Holiday Frame Embossing Folder
Joyous Celebrations Stamp Set, (set of 9)
3 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (comes in Crumb Cake & Early Espresso too) Love it!

You won't  believe how many great new products are in the Holiday Catalog. If you've purchased from me in the past 6 months, you should be receiving one in the mail pretty soon. If you don't have a demo and would like one, leave me a comment with your info and I would be happy to mail one to you.

Tube Treat Holders

I saw these super cute little tubes on Tanya Bell's blog. She is from Australia and has some fabulous ideas on her blog.  You are not going to believe what the top and bottom pieces are.......can you guess? You know the plastic things that are in the center of the ribbon, thats what she used. Add a little piece of window sheet to make the tube and some dsp, you are good to go. When I get back from convention I will do a tutorial. I checked with Tanya and she said it would be fine. Thanks so much Tanya!

It was hard to get a good photo.  Inside the tubes I put a Hershey Kiss & a Hershey Nugget wrapped with dsp.

I used Floral District & Summer Smooches dsp, all scraps I had. This is a great way to use up some of those scraps.

These were so much fun to make. I'm so glad I kept those ribbon things. So don't throw them away, next week I will do a tutorial. They are really easy to make! Some more of my stamping friends will get these.

Convention Gifts

I know I've been missing my blog posts for the past week. But I have a good excuse.......I've been busy making my convention gifts & swaps. I am going to try and get several posts done so they will automatically post while I'm gone. I also am going to try and post from convention.  I will be flying to Utah this time tomorrow for Stampin' Up!'s Convention. It will be so nice to see some of my cyber friends. So here are some of the Fabric Roses my friends will get from me.

I made up a bunch of Fabric Roses and made them into Flower Pins by adding a pin on the back. Well once I got the flowers done, I thought, I can't just give them the Rose Pins.......You always need chocolate, right? So in a large cello bag I put the Rose Pin & a Ghirardelli chocolate. Then I couldn't just give them the cello bag, right? So I made toppers for the bags. I used the Floral Frames Framelits & the Labels Collection Framelits. The largest flower & label make the perfect bag topper. I cut them out using the Floral District dsp & the Polka Dot Parade dsp. Then using the From My Heart stamp set, I used the Friendship stamp. I tried to match the fabric & dsp to each flower. Stampin' Up! makes this so easy for us. I also added 3 little roses. I hope they like them.

Here is a close up of the Floral District Fabric & dsp.

This one uses the Essentials Fabric & the Polka Dot Parade dsp.

Another one using the same as above.
If you don't have these Framelits yet........You REALLY, REALLY need them. I use them for so many of my cards and 3-d projects.

I'm off to pack for my journey to Salt Lake!

Need "A Reason To Smile"?

How about a $5 stamp set? Thats how much this stamp set is with a $50 order.

I haven't used this technique in a very long time.  Its called " Stain Glass". You emboss using white embossing powder, and then color on the back side of your velum paper, (#101856, page 160). Thanks to Kelly Acheson at A Stamp Above. I saw it on her blog and new I had to case it. I used different colors, but the concept is the same. I stamped with white Craft Ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder. Then on the BACK side of your Vellum you color your flowers with markers, I used Summer Starfruit & Gumball Green. When you turn it over it looks like stained glass. I punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and another one in Whisper White to put under the Velum. I used a dot of Tombow glue (and I mean a little dot) on the back of each flower to adhere to the white cardstock, sponged around the edge with Summer Starfruit ink (I'm trying really hard to like this color) and mounted it on the larger Doily, (from the Delicate Doilies. The larger doily is about 3 1/4" round). I sponged around the Doily too. Added my ribbon to the Birds of a Feather dsp and with dimensionals added the flowers. My sentiment is from the One in a Million stamp set (love this set). Inside says, That makes you One in a Million! So fun!

Here is a close up of the flowers.

You can order from my online store here!

Thanks for looking!
