Wonderfal Scrapbook Page

This is the scrapbook page we did at Clarice's Party. They wanted to use the Watercolor Crayons. So we used the Wonderfal Stamp set with matching Bigz die. Spritzing our stamp after we colored it in with the crayons, then stamped on watercolor paper. Then they stamped a couple of leaves on Vanilla cardstock to add to the water-colored leaves. We also stamped on the new Cotton Ribbon with the leaves, & made a flower using the Jumbo Sticky Rounds & ribbon. Directions come in the packaging. Next we used the Core'dinations paper in Early Espresso. Put that through the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and then sanded it just a little with our new sanding blocks.

Here is a close up of the ribbon flower made with the Jumbo Sticky Rounds. So easy to make. Tip: If you make your flower smaller than the sticky round, just fold the excess underneath the flower and then adhere to your project. This way you don't have to cut or mess with it.

Here is a close up of the watercolor paper, leaves and the Core'dinations paper embossed with the Woodgrain folder. Tip: die cut your leaves first, then ink your stamp and turn it upside down and lay your die cut leaf on top of the ink pad. Then we sponged the edges, spritzed them with water and crumpled up in a ball. Gives the leaves so much texture, don't you think?

Here you can see the ribbon that has been stamped and the flags were cut out from the Orchard Harvest dsp, embossed & then sanded just a little.

Halloween Lollipops From Brad & Button Containers.....Really??

When I saw these on Becky Roberts blog, I knew I wanted to make some! This is a good project to "up-cycle". I've been saving my brad & button containers and now I have a use for them. I did mine a little different than Becky did, but you can really do anything you to decorate these containers. First start by punching a hole in the side with your crop-o-dial. Then using a Lollipop Stick (you can get these in the cake decorating section of Michael's, JoAnn's, etc.) add a little hot glue to the tip and insert in the hole on the container, and add a little more around the stick, let cool. Now you are ready to decorate.

This one uses the Googly Ghouls stamp set & the Howlstooth & Scaringbone dsp (who makes up these names??). I love that we now have the Google Eyes ( #127539, $2.50).

This one uses the Hostess set, Mixed Medley stamp set & the Window Framelits die.

On this one I used both the Mixed Medley & Goggly Ghouls stamp sets. Don't you love the eyes on my spider?

This one uses the Bootiful Occasions stamp set. Did you know that you can color our Rhinestones & Pearls with a Sharpie marker? That's what I did for the Rhinestones on the boot. Also, tomorrow I will be showing how I used the Silcone Craft Sheet (page 31, $5.95) to make my rosettes. So cool and easy. So much easier than before. So, Stay Tuned!

September Stamp Club Projects

Happy Birthday Uncle Spero!

This is a card I made for my Uncle's Birthday this week. I love this stamp set. It makes great "man" cards, don't you think? The base is Midnight Muse, then a layer of Cherry Cobbler embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder. I stamped the ribbon in Midnight Muse then added a 1 3/8" Midnight Muse Circle punch and stamped the Happy Birthday in Cherry Cobbler, and punched with a 1 1/4" circle punch. I added some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, then popped up the ribbon with dimensions. I wheeled the ticket wheel and punched out with the ticket punch a couple of tickets.

 

Blooming with Kindness

Unfortunately my husband needed a Sympathy card for a co-worker who lost her father. Blooming with Kindness is the perfect stamp set. I did emboss resist. Stamp the flower in Versamark, emboss with white embossing powder. Then I took Baja Breeze ink and sponged around the flower. Added some Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon to finish it off. The sentiment is from Loving Thoughts.

Halloween Thank You Cards

Stamp Club Thank You's!

The gals that are in my Stamp Club are each getting one of these cards. I want them to know that they are everything the card says! They are wonderful ladies that have supported me for a long time, and they are excellent stampers. This month during class I really needed them.....Had a bad week and seeing them just made me forget everything else. We had a ball making the ornament that is on the front of the Holiday Catalog. They truly have become my friends.

Here is a close up of the card. I should also add that my friend Patty Bennett sent me a card similar to this one. I totally cased it I loved it so much.  You won't find this stamp set in the catalog as Stampin' Up! gave this set to us at convention. It's called: I am.

Open House

Here is my display board and new product show and tell.

We made these cute little bags from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Printed Kit, (boy is that a mouth full). I added the 2 3/8" Pumpkin Pie Scallop Punch and the black flag embossed with the Spider Embossing Folder.

They had their choice of one of these Christmas Cards. All have one of the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags in the center and then we just embellished them and added a ribbon. For this one we used Merry Minis Punch Pack to punch the ornaments, that were first stamped with the branches in the Joyous Occasions stamp set. This card base was embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder (#127819).

We added a strip of dsp from the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper.

On this card I embossed with the Northern Flurry Folder.

This one uses one of the Delicate Designs Folders.

 These cards were fun & fast to make. I think everyone enjoyed making them.
