Artisan Embellishment Class, Sneak Peek!

Its time now to start showing you some new stuff from the Spring Catalog, which goes live next Thursday, January 3rd.

Today I'm showing you what we will be making in my "Artisan Embellishment" class, January 26th, 12:30pm. RSVP by: January 19th with payment. We will be using the Artisan Embellishment kit for this class. Kind of a "mixed media" project on a canvas.
Everything you see is included in the kit with the exception of the canvas, butterfly and the re-inkers. This kit is so awesome! I total love everything in the kit! You will go home with a finished project. Contact me NOW to sign up!

Merry Christmas!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I am finishing up a couple of things and realized I never posted these ornaments made with clothes pins. I had saved this from last year. I subscribe to this blog called, Under the Table & Dreaming. Its kind of like Pinterest, where people post diy projects, recipes, and all things cute. So here are my ornaments:

To make the clothes pin base, you will take apart your clothespins.

Hot glue them together, back to back.

So they look like this. Our Silicone mats work perfect for gluing these together.

Now start gluing them together like this.

This is what they look like when finished. Now you can leave them like this, or embellish them like I did. Its easy to add your hanger through those little holes. I found in my stash that I had some smaller clothes pins and glued them on top of the larger ones and then added my medallions, etc. And I should add that I made some of the ornaments on the cover of the Holiday Catalog and added them to the clothes pin ornament and they looked very nice. I have given most of them away. I thought I took a photo, but I don't see it. I will try and post it tomorrow. As the usual right now I'm pressed for time. Where did December go???
Have a Merry Christmas! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.

Christmas Ornaments Using the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set

I've had this idea for some photo ornaments of my grandkids for a while now. I bought them each a Santa Hat and then took their photos in front of our tree. I am finishing up all things Christmas and this is what I came up with......
This one is Jocelyn.

Next, Gianna.

And then Anthony!

I used the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set and the Floral Framelits to cut each one out. I tried used the 2-way glue pen to adhere the Chunky Glitter, but it just isn't strong enough. I ended up taking all the glitter off and adding sticky strip, then the glitter. Much better coverage and its not falling off. I am embarrassed to say this is the first time I've used the Cherry Cobbler & Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder.......Finished off with a few pearls. The Girl's got the larger pearls and Anthony I just did the very tiny ones.
I'm short on time, so email me if you have any questions, (

Merry Kissmiss!

I'm sure you've all seen these Trees, online. Here are mine!
I have made about 2 dozen of these trees. My husband has taken about a dozen to work. They are just so much fun to make. You can view QBee's video HERE!

Here is a close up. I made them all different. You know, you can find about a dozen different varieties of Hershey Kisses!

Here is how I packaged them up. Our Gusseted Bags work perfectly to package them up. I had some of Stampin' Up's! 1 1/4" Stripped ribbon left over. Sadly that ribbon is retired........

Then I added an ornament to the bow.

Couldn't of made my trees without my Simply Scored Board!

Holiday Plate

I had purchased a light blue Charger thinking it would go great with one of our designer papers. Brought it home and it was a perfect match. I just didn't have time to decorate the plate. Then I saw Gloria Plunkett's Plate, OMG! You should check out Gloria's blog. One word "AWESOME". So Gloria inspired me to get my plate done. Here is what I came up with.
I've used two brand new products (Spring Catalog) on my plate. Can you guess what they are? Like me on Facebook and the first person who guesses I will send you those two items as soon as the Spring Catalog goes live!
You have until December 25th to like me on Facebook and make your guess! Good luck!

The "Believe" I did in My Digital Studio. Thanks Gloria, for giving me that push I needed to make up my own plate!
