Blue Ribbon Cards

Here are the 3 cards I showed in my video, Did You Know? Blue Ribbon. Watch my video, HERE! for a trick punching out the scallop without cutting off the flags in this stamp.
This one has a sneak peek of a couple of products in the new catalog. Can you guess which products are new?
1. Quatrefancy Specialty dsp
2. Mosaic Embossing folder (hard to see on the black)
I added dimensionals to each layer to really make it pop!

This card uses Real Red & Midnight Muse. Love these colors together.

This is a new In Color called Baked Brown Sugar, (Ink & card base). I cased this one from Gloria Plunket. Sad to see the First Edition dsp retiring. It's already sold out!

All of these cards would make great "Man" cards, which seems hard for me to do. How many flower stamps does a girl need? All of them, right? So hard not to put ribbon or flowers on a card........I must send more cards to women than men, just sayin'........

Blue Ribbon, #125981, $20.95

2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, #118874, $16.95

Stampin' Up! has another new kit available starting today! Watch the video from Stampin' Up!

Aren't these flowers cute?

Bloomin' Bouquet Project Kit

Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.

Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to give a little "thank you" to-and introduce them to Stampin' Up!

Quick & Cute Class Cards and Scissor Charms

Yesterday I had my Quick & Cute Card Class. I had three gals come. We had such a great time stamping together. Thanks to Susan, Carol & Alyse for coming.
So much Fun!

These are the scissor charms I made for each of them. I used the "Best of Flowers" stamp set.

To make the charms here is what I did:
Pick out 3 colors of re-inker, grab a couple of baby wipes and fold in half. Using your re-inker, make a 2" line of each color right next to each other. Then "wipe" your baby wipe onto Glossy cardstock (this is on the retirement list). I did all different patterns, plaid, wavy and straight. I wish I had taken a photo of each piece. Then using Black Stazon, I stamped the flowers onto the glossy card stock. Punched out the image using the 1" circle punch. Add a little Crystal Effects onto your flatten bottle top and then your stamped image. Then fill in the top with Crystal Effects. Let it dry over night. I used my Crop-o-dile to punch the whole for the chain.
I totally cased this card from Patty Bennett who cased it from Connie Babbert. I changed the saying. I would have never put these colors together. But now I LOVE them together. Pool Party, Lucky Limeade & Daffodil Delight! Betsy's Bloom, Made for You & Papillon Potpourri  are the stamps we used. Made for You (is on the retirement list). Stamp your image THEN run it through your Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing folder. Easy peasey!

I stamped off the large flower and then punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

For this card we used Just Believe & Petite Pairs stamp sets. Just Believe is on the retirement list. Also the First Addition dsp. We stamped the image with Versamark onto the dsp and embossed with black embossing powder. I made a oval templete using my Oval Framelits and we brayered Crumb Cake ink in the center.

Close Up.

For the last card I used retiring colors, Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze (so sad, I love Baja Breeze!) & Certainly Celery, (can't remember the last time I used that color). We just Perfectly Preserved & Made for You stamp sets. Perfectly Preserved is on the hit list too.

So  hows that for 3 Quick & Cute Cards? Remember  I've used several retired stamps for these cards. Get yours while you can. You have until June 3rd to order them.

Cannery Jar Thank You's!

I saw these on Pinterest last week and knew they would be perfect for my Stamp Club Thank You's. Floral District dsp is my most FAVORITE dsp EVER....

Here is a close up.

So, how did I make these into a card?? I cut a piece of dsp
2 1/2" x 6" and folded it in half. Stamped the canning jar so the top of the jar was just above the fold. Placed the jar die so the top was just above the fold, and ran it through my Big Shot and now you have a card. Easy Peasy! Now die cut the tops for the jars, add your baker's twine and then adhere to your jar. Die cut your banner and attach with dimensionals.  I didn't take a photo of the inside, but I punched a Whisper White Curly Label punch and signed my name and glued to the inside. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see my signature. This way, they can just cut off the back part of the card and use it on another card or scrapbook page.

Candy Treat Pouch

As Stampin' Up! Demonstators we get a magazine every other month called Stampin' Success. This is a BIG perk of being a demo. We all look forward to getting this magazine. You can get this magazine too if you become a member. Until May 30th you can get a $155 of product of your choice for only $99. You will have until September 30th to make your minimums. And there is no pressure if you decide this isn't for you. You simple don't order any more and you are dropped.  Click HERE! to become a Member. In the March/April issue Stampin' Up! made this really cute candy treat pouch. So this is my take on the project. Do you know what dsp I used for my project?

Its the Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper (boy is that a mouthful....). Its heavier than our other papers and embossed. What I did was used our markers to color in some of the flowers. Then go back and with a tissue wipe away any excess ink. Really easy!

This one I made the decorative edge using Adorning Accents Edgelits.
Here are the measurements:

4 1/4" x 12", score on the long side at, 1", 5 3/4" and 7 1/4".

Here is what I used for this project:

Natural Composition Specialty Designer Paper, #126917
Very Vanilla scrap, #101650
Raspberry Ripple scrap, #126842
Large Oval Punch, #119855
Scallop Oval Punch, #119856
Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Ribbon, #126845
Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals markers #126845 (In Colors)
Daffodil Delight marker, #119677

Edited to add:

The sentiment is from Pop Up Posies Kit, #131395. Many Thanks to Connie Babbert for catching my mistake!

Paper Pumpkin Kit. Click HERE to see the monthly subscription for Paper Pumpkin.   Kit comes to your door every month and everything is cut and ready to use. You only need adhesive to make the projects.

Best of Flowers Card

I love the "Best of Flowers" stamp set that came out last month. This was really easy to do
1. Take a piece of Vanilla cardstock, cut at 5 1/4" x 4" and stamp the flower along the 5 1/4" side with Calypso Coral Ink. Cut on the right side.
2. Add your 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" Calypso Coral cardstock under your flowers. Add your ribbon. I used Sale-a-bration ribbon for this card.
3. Adhere the Vanilla and Calypso Coral piece to your Vanilla card base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2").
Stamp "Feel Better" with Calypso Coral Ink on to a scrap of Vanilla and punch out with the Curly Label Punch. Sponge around and mount on card with dimensionals.
4. Punch the Bitty Butterfly with a scrap of Calypso Coral cardstock. Add some Pearls and attach with a glue dot.
5. Add the Large Pearls to the center of each flower.

Epic Day This and That Cards-New Hostess Special

I just realized I didn't show the cards we made to go inside the "Portfolio". You can see the post for the Portfolio HERE.
This one was super simple. The products from the Epic Day This and That bundle are AWESOME!  I just cut the dsp by hand, (the whole piece has these hexagons on it, so its easy to cut), added the washi tape on top with a smashed small Soda Pop Top, and added my Happy Birthday with Calypso Coral Ink. The card base is Pool Party. If you don't know how to "smash" your Soda Pop Top I have a video you can view HERE!

This one was a bit more involved. (Sorry for the yellow photo). The card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock and I ran the top through the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. We spritzed the doily using Stampin' Up's! mister filled with 70% rubbing alcohol, about 6-8 drops of Daffodil Delight re-inker and a splash of Champagne Shimmer Paint. Shake really well and spritz onto your crumpled doily. Snailed the doily down and added the two flags from the bottom. Saw this on Pinterest. Then added the Crochet Ribbon. Stamped two of the tickets from That's the Ticket in Gumball Green & Crumb Cake.  Added the Silver Basics Designer Button on top of the Pool Party 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. Finished the card off with some Crumb Cake Seam binding ribbon.
These are all the items you receive when you purchase the "Bundle".

One of my all time favorite Embossing Folders!
