Using the Tree Builder Punch for Ice Cream....WHAAAT?

The Work of Art stamp set is so versatile. I cased this from France Martin. She used the Cupcake Builder Punch. For mine, I've updated it and used the Tree builder punch for the ice cream. Such a clever idea! And you can whip up a bunch of these really fast.

I used the Gorgeous Grunge for the "sprinkles" on my ice cream. You could use the sprinkles in the Sprinkles of Life stamp set too! Wouldn't these be awesome Birthday Invitations?

Who Says Donuts are Fattening?

You won't gain an ounce with this Donut. This card uses the Cherry on Top 6 x 6 paper stack, and You're so sweet stamp set. I saw this on Pinterest a while back and knew I had to make one. I know there is a LOT going on with this card and all the patterns. I used my Circle Framelits to make the donut and for the sentiment.
I stamped the sentiment twice, once with Crushed Curry ink and then again with Watermelon Wonder ink. I trimmed the SWEET with my scissors and added it to the sentiment along with a long piece of the stripes paper. The Triple Banner Punch was used to cut the banners at the top. I used the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch to take the "bite" out of my donut. This card uses 6 different pieces of this Designer Series Paper. So you can see how cute every piece is.

Downline Milestones!

I have 2 gals in my downline that are having (or just had) anniversaries. These are the cards I made for them. I also sent the a little something to go with the cards.

I love this fold! Thank you to Dawn O. You can watch her video HERE! Once you do a couple of these they are pretty simple.  TIP: use copy paper to practice this fold. Then you won't mess up your good paper if you make a mistake. I'm loving the new Neutrals Paper Stack. Stampin' Up! has redesigned the papers this year. I'm using the Crumb Cake Designer Series Paper and Mint Macaron Ink for this card.I think I sent this one to Paula W. for her 6 year Anniversary.
Inside I used the You've Got This Stamp set, and the sentiment is from Friendly Wishes, both new sets.
This card I used the Early Espresso from the Neutrals Paper Stack. It goes really well with Watermelon Wonder, which is another new In Color for this year.
Here is the inside of my card. This one went to Doreen C. for her One Year Anniversary on June 3rd. Congrats to both of my gals!

Happy Birthday Patty!

My dear friend and upline, Patty Bennett is having a birthday. So this is the card I made for her. It uses the new In Color Envelope Paper. I LOVE this new paper. Its not quite as heavy as Designer Series Paper, but heavier than tissue paper. Its so easy to work with too. This sentiment comes from the You're So Sweet Stamp set. I know you are wondering about that flower too.....That paper is from the Cherry On Top Cotton Paper. This paper is PERFECT for these flowers. Its a little heavier than tissue paper. You can't see through it. I used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits, second smallest framelit, cut 8 flowers, (all at the same time), added a brad in the center to hold them all together and then just scrunched each flower. You can view Dawn O's Video HERE! on how to make this card.
Inside of her card. I used the Sprinkle's of Life stamp set. Embossed the top of the flower pot with clear embossing powder and used my markers to color in the flowers and leaves.
Next up is the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I used the In Color Envelope Paper, which is PERFECT for this die. I did the Bokeh Technique using the new In Colors, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron & Tip Top Taupe. The sentiment comes from the stamp set, You're So Sweet and its the perfect sentiment for Patty.  Can you see the little flower? Its new too. LOVE it! I added a little pearl for the middle. And to top it off, I die cut the sentiment with the Deco Collections Framelits Die, added it to one of our Doilies, with a few pearls at the bottom. Oh, and had to add a little of that GORGEOUS lace at the bottom. I also used the Cherry On top Cotton Paper to wrap up a little bracelet. Loved the way this came out.
And lastly, I wrapped up a Selfie Stick ( Patty was trying to get a selfie photo of us and struggled, and so I thought this was perfect for her. Plus she does take the most beautiful photos.) in our wrapping paper from the Holiday Catalog. It was in the Clearance Rack too. Made another flower with the Cherry On Top Cotton Paper, with some of the Lace Trim.
 Close up of the flower.

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream!

Don't you remember saying this as a kid? I couldn't resist.......

I combined the Sprinkles of Life Stamp set (and coordinating punch) with the Balloon Framelits. I used Melon Mambo (strawberry ice cream), Hello Honey (Vanilla cardstock), and Chocolate Chip (for chocolate ice cream). Did you know that you can ink up your stamp with Versamark Ink and Ink into any color of the Classic ink and then emboss it with Clear Embossing Powder? Yep, you sure can.  The designer series paper I used is from the New Cherry On Top, 6" x 6" paper stack. Love it!
I added a strip Washi Tape to the inside of the card.
The bows and strings I used some thick baker's twine from a previous kit. (I have a ton  left over....).

I Think You're GREAT! One More Week!

This is one stamp set that we could pre-order. It has 5 images in it. You may also notice some new Designer Series Paper, and Washi Tape. Yes, they all coordinate! Thank you Stampin' Up!. No guessing here.

I even added some Washi Tape to the inside.
For the Flag, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock, 1" x 2" and covered it with Washi Tape then used the New Triple Banner Punch to punch it out. WOW!  You will NEED this punch for sure. The little flower stamp is from Friendly Wishes. You will be able to order all of these products on June 2nd!, Only ONE more week!

Way To Go! I think You're GREAT! Top 2 in Sales

My top 2 Gals in Sales for April got one of these cards and a little something from me. I love this new stamp set called, I Think You're Great! Perfect sentiment to let my gals know that they really are GREAT!

Love the new Lace in all of the new In Colors. So Soft and easy to tie a bow or knot.

This one uses Watermelon Wonder. One of the new In colors.

Its hard to see, but I embossed a bunch of sentiments from the Bravo Stamp set with clear embossing powder. Bravo is another set that has great sentiments. What I did was use the largest block, (block F), and put all the sentiments on at once, then stamp (sorry no photo). That way you can line them up exactly as you want them and you only have to do it once, instead of each one.

For this card I used Mint Macraron and Tip Top Taupe.

Did you know? When embossing using an embossing folder that you should put the folded side in first.  That takes pressure off the fold and you don't get the marks on your cardstock if you do it that way. Just line the folded edge of your cardstock up with the edge of the embossing folder
Thank you to LeeAnn Greff for this fabulous card and tip. She made her cards into graduation cards.

You can click on any of the photos below and it will take you to my online store.

Chalkboard Easel Card,Decorative Punch Makes it Easy!

I love these cards. You can see the other ones I did HERE! This was my card for the Shoebox Swap. I used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. To get the color I took my Early Espresso Ink pad and rubbed it on the side WITHOUT the Stampin' Up! Logo. Add your cardstock and run it through. You get the color mostly on the "veins".
We stamped on the Chalkboard Paper (sadly it isn't being carried forward in the new catalog), with White Craft Ink and Embossed with clear Embossing Powder. You could also use Versamark Ink to emboss. The stamp set is Balloon Bash, it didn't make it into the new catalog either.....insert sad face. I took the 1/2" circle punch and took off each corner. Makes it look more like a sign. And yes, we fussy cut the balloons. It didn't take too long to cut them out, really! You can do it!
