Sleigh Ride Note Card

This is another stunning card designed by Patty that we made a couple of weeks ago. It uses the Sleigh Ride Edgelits (you can get the stamp set and Edgelits bundle and save 15%), and the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (say that 3 times in a row). The Sled Edgelit is cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
The sentiment is from Peaceful Wreath. We added a star with a Metal Rimmed Pearl onto a Metallic Silver Doily. I forgot to mention that these are Note Cards. You can get 20 cards with envelopes for $6. Such a deal!

Home for Christmas

A couple of week-ends ago, we had a Stamping Day with Patty Bennett here at my home. We had so much fun sharing and stamping. Patty designed 3 super cute cards, this is one of them. It features the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper and the Boughs and Berries Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is from the A Little Something stamp set. You can also get the bundle, (stamp set and Square Pillow Box Thinlits) at 15% off.
We "fussy" cut out the poinsettia from the Designer Series Paper. The one banner is from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack. In this stack the prints are all black or gold, but if you turn them over they look silver or white, which is what I did. The Marina Mist banner is embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
And since the card base is Cherry Cobbler (and dark) Patty added a Whisper White piece on the inside punched with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

Happy Birthday Woodland Embossing Folder

This was another card we did at Mary's card Class last month. Uses the Woodland Embossing folder. You can see we sponged the trees with Tip Top Taupe and stamped the leaves randomly. The sentiment is from Tin of Cards Stamp set. The crow was fussy cut and added with a dimensional. The leaves are from the September Paper Pumpkin kit.

I forgot to list the Gold Metallic Thread, # 138401, $3.

Envelope Gift Card Holder

This is a fun way to give a gift card. I don't know about you, but I've been giving gift cards more often than an actual gift. Think about it, its always the right size, color, style, etc. We made this one in Mary's card class last month. It uses the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper and a Medium size Envelope.

You can make these as fancy or plain as you want. Male or female, birthday, anniversary, Christmas, just because, you name it and it works. Just change the Designer Series paper and stamp set.  Boom! Here are two Christmas examples.

We also used the Flurry of Wishes stamp set with the matching punch. I love the wood snowflakes that we put on the belly band for this one. Finished it off with an Iced Rhinestone.

I'm sure you will want to know how I made this........I did a quick tutorial for you. This is something you can make up in just a few minutes.

This is what I used for this Gift Card Holder:

Looking back at this one I should have added a few Rhinestones. I hope you enjoyed this quick project. You can click on each of the photos to order any of these items in my Online Store.

Stampin' Up! Only Challenge, Shaker Card!

You can play along too! Check out all of our Design Team Entries HERE!
I know, you are shocked that I made ANOTHER Shaker card........Why do I have 4 of them? I WAS going to make a lot of them for my swaps at the Stampin' Up's! Onstage Event next month in San Diego. Yeah, I have to re-think that. These babies are a bit time consuming. I think I will give them to the gals in our group. You see how I make my shaker cards HERE! And this past month, I have made several.
I can't seem to get enough of these leaves (and the shaker) cards. This time I used Mint Macaroon for my card base and a strip of the 2015-2017 In Color Paper Stack. Then I added all of my "gold" accents, Lace Ribbon, Sequins, 1/8" Ribbon, Cording. All held by glue dots. I think I will have to staple them all together and put them in a clear envelope.

For the "shaker" ingredients, I used the Confetti Star Boarder Punch, in Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaroon, fine gold glitter, clear Micro Beads and Gold Sequins. The leaf was stamped in Early Espresso and I sponged with Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaroon all over the leaf, hard to tell with all the shaker pieces in the way.

Acorny Thank You Club Card

This was another club card. Super simple. I really love the 1/4" strip of Gold Glimmer Paper. You don't need a lot. Paired that with the 1" piece of Into the Woods Designer Series Paper, makes a big impact. A simple acorn with the Gold Thread and a few Gold Sequins finishes off the card.
I used a lot of dimensionals on the acorn, I don't like anything flat.......
The Acorn Punch makes it so easy once you stamp. You can get both the stamp set and punch as a bundle and save 15%. I forgot to mention that the Itty Bitty Framelits coordinate with this stamp set as well.

Happy Scenes Leaf Card Club

This is one of the cards we made in Stamp Club this month. I've seen so many cards using this stamp set with the Vintage Leaves Framelits. Usually we stamp first and then die cut, or punch, but in this instance, we did the opposite. Die cut, then stamp, and since this is a Photopolymer stamp set its really easy to see where you want to stamp.
All of the leaves were mounted on Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder and sponged with White craft ink.

We stamped the image in Memento Black Ink. I sponged with Marina Mist for the sky and Pear Pizzazz for the grass and then colored the pumpkins and leaves with markers. Notice the Embossed Gold edges. I love how just the edges are embossed and I have been seeing this more and more. For the Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz leaves I embossed the dots with gold as well and sponged the edges. Then crumpled them up.  Added the Gold Cording and Gold Button which ties in with the gold embossing. This sentiment is also in this set.

Candy Corn Dotted Bag Club

This was such a fun bag to make. My Stamp Club Gals were really excited when I showed them this project. I actually saw this demoed at Convention this year. So simple to do. I put a small pencil mark at 2" & 4" on both sides. Masked off each layer and used my ink pad directly onto the bag. It will be wet, just use a paper towel to take off the excess ink. I used Tangelo Twist and Daffodil Delight.
For my streamers I used Gold Sequins, Tangelo Twist Stripped Ribbon and the little pumpkins and leaves are from the Square Pillow Die Thinlits. These are my favorites when I'm layering like this. I used them on my shaker cards too.  The sentiment is from the Howl-o-ween stamp sent. I tried stamping directly on the bag and it just smeared. Which is why I added my tag to the bottom of the bag. It really would have been better to add with the streamers.
You can see my 1" x 8" Treat Bags HERE! where I made the Witches Hats. Made with Circle Punches and the Christmas Tree Punch.

Dude Club Card

You can view the same card, different colors HERE! Make sure you scroll down to see how I cut the "bumps" off on the bottom layer.
For this version I used the Go Wild 6" x 6" Paper Stack again, but wanted to bring out the Tip Top Taupe. The Happy Birthday is stamped with the Tip Top Taupe. Both of these stamps are from past Paper Pumpkin Kits. I am loving Paper Pumpkin more every month.

Here you can see I used a scrap of the same paper for the inside. Kind of "jazzes" up the inside of the card a bit.

Joy Christmas Card, Last Day for Stamp Sale!

TODAY, Friday, October 23rd is the LAST day to take advantage of the Stamp Sale!

Isn't this card stunning? I think I saw this on Pinterest. Uses our Thick Whisper White cardstock for the card base. Using the Triple Layer Punch, used a piece of the Holiday Fancy Foil and the Red Foil papers. We embossed the Red Foil Paper with the Softly Fallen Embossing Folder. I bet you are wondering what stamp set we used? Your Presents is the name of the stamp set. This happens to be one we received at convention. I know you're thinking, where are the presents?

No presents, but we have some Peppermint Candies. See how easy they are to make? Just stamp this bow twice, stamp once like you normally would and then turn stamp upside down and stamp again. Punch out with your 3/4" Circle Punch. You can use your 1" Circle Punch too, but you see a little too much white. Don't forget to sponge around your candy with Real Red Ink.
Remember to adhere your Holiday Fancy Foil Vellum, use snail on the large red stripes. That way you won't be able to see the adhesive. I used my 2 1/2" Circle Punch for the sentiment. Finished off with some Iced Rhinestones.

Last day to take advantage of this FABULOUS sale!

Peaceful Pines

This is one of the cards we made in Mary's class last month. It is a total case from Kimberly Van Diepen. I love everything about this card. The trees are embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Crumb Cake cardstock, and then colored in with Tempting Turquoise re-inker and a Aqua Pen.  Its water coloring, so it doesn't have to be perfectly colored in. Did you notice two doilies? A White one and Metallic one. I used only half of each one.

You can see the dimension here. Two trees have dimensionals on them, the other is just glued with snail.

Let me tell you how I did the "snow". I cut one out using the Heavy Whisper White cardstock and one out of Fun Foam. This is another thing that is quite popular, stacking the sentiment to make it look thick. Our Fine Tip Glue Pen works perfect for adhering together, and using the Fun Foam saves having to cut more from the Heavy Whisper White cardstock.

Wedding Gift and Matching Shaker Card

My son needed a package decorated with a matching card. (Ok, well I told him he needed a card to go with the package....). I took one of are large Kraft boxes (that I guess we no longer have along with the Brushed Silver Cardstock), and wrapped the box with our Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. Then went to town making the topper. It was another one of those, get everything out Silver. So that's what I did, with the exception of the Pink and Bermuda Bay Sequins, everything else is silver.
Here is a closeup. Silver embossed Vintage Leaves, Silver Satin Ribbon, 1/8" Silver Ribbon, Silver Cording, Silver Metallic Thread, Silver Glimmer Paper.
I pretty much did the same thing for the card with the exception I added the strips of leaves from the Square Pillow Box (Shimmery cardstock and Brushed Silver cardstock). The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I also used more of the Silver Fancy Foil Vellum. TIP: Put your adhesive on the silver strips and you won't be able to see it.

Stuck them all together with glue dots. Remember, when you think you have enough stuff for the shaker, add some more. This one is lacking just like the one I shared with you on Monday.

So, according to my son, the box and the card were a hit! So glad! Because he asked me the night before he needed it.......such a man, doesn't plan ahead. Ok, I guess by telling me the night before, that was his plan ahead...... Good thing I had already made Patty's card. I just changed from Gold to Silver.
