$100K Thank You's

I saw a card that would be perfect for my Thank You's for everyone who helped me reach my $100K in sales. It was in some photos that were taken at Sandy Hancock's Meeting last Saturday. I don't know who made it, but it was just what I needed. I changed it up to fit my needs. I used the Number of Years Stamp set. The K is cut from a retired Alphabet set using the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. The THANKS is from One Big Meaning. I used my Watermelon Wonder Marker to color in just the thanks!

The base of my card is Blushing Bride. I seem to be using that color a lot these days......must be the matching Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper........
I needed another color beside the Watermelon Wonder to add, so I used some Lost Lagoon ink. Added some Pearls to each of the flowers.  I think it works!

I can't thank my many customers enough who helped me reach my $100K. What did I do with my time before Stampin' Up!? I can't remember! I love my job!

Here are the products I used to make my cards. You can click on any of them and it will take you to my Online Store.

Thursday's Create with Connie & Mary

We have a sketch this week! You can play along too! Click HERE!

So I thought I would use the Flowering Fields Sale-a-bration stamp set, along with the Enjoy the Little Things Stamp set for the sentiment. This set really has some cute sayings in. Its simple, but I like it.
And did you think you wouldn't see the Wink of Stella on this card. Of course I added a little Wink to my water coloring.  If you saw this POST I showed you how I use re-inker on a clear block and pick up the color on the Wink of Stella Brush......ooohhh so pretty, don't you think? Glitter without the MESS! Yes please!

I finished off my card with some Wisteria Wonder Seam Binding Ribbon, (second card this week I've used this ribbon) and a string of Pearls.

Now its your turn. I would love to see your card for this challenge. Remember you can go HERE to play along.

Occasions Sampler, New Weekly Deals!

Recently I was involved in a 3 x 3 Occasions Swap with our Luv 2 Stamp Group. This was really fun. I only had to make nine squares and would get 9 squares back, all different. You could also use these on cards if you didn't want to make a sampler.

Aren't they all so cute? The best part, I had this Shadow Box Frame in my stash of stuff that I hadn't used. I backed the frame with White Corrugated Paper. I have a hard time using the white pieces. I used the Large Numbers Stamp Set. It has these lovely water color stamps in the set. The Friend stamp is from the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set. This set is perfect for these 3 x 3 squares.
I had originally started backing them on the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. Then went back in and re-read the directions......oops! Backing all need to be Blushing Bride cardstock. So I kept mine with the Glimmer Paper and changed the others. I also had to "Wink" mine with the Wink of Stella Brush. Hard to tell in the photo, but its there!

Here is a list of the products I used:

New Weekly Deals good through, Monday, February 1st.

New Catalog Party! I did it!

Thanks to Colleen Daley who put me "over" the "top" to reach my 100K in career sales!
Here we are totaling up her order. I needed $117 to reach my goal and she spent $132. That's 2 FREE Sale-a-bration items she got to pick. Colleen is getting a little something extra from me in her order...shh, its a secret.
This was part of the table I had set up. I have a few of the samples from the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit. This is such a great kit. I will be having a class on this next month. Stay tuned! Also you can see a couple of the Playful Pals, Polka Dot Elephant and a Penguin. And my 3 x 3 Sampler, more on that as well.

Whats a party without food? I made Brownies, Poppy Seed Muffins, and Blue Berry Muffins.

This month's Paper Pumpkin all done up. Treat Bags in the top basket and some other treats using the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.
I had the banner from the kit above the baskets. Did you know you can save $5 and get a FREE Sale-a-bration item when you sign up for the 3 month subscription option? I had 2 extra kits, one for December and one for January. I gave them to the first people who signed up. Tami and Susan each signed up. The number for the 3 month prepaid subscription is #137859. The kits keep getting better and better!
Here we have, Becky, Audry, Susan, Tami and Colleen doing the make n takes.

This photo you can see Claire at the end.

This is the Notepad we made. Did a little water coloring with the Wink of Stella.
I had a separate table to do the Water Coloring. TIP: I like to put my re-inker on a clear block with the bottle in back so I can tell which color I'm using. You take your Wink of Stella and pick up a little of the re-inker and color in your images. We used the Flowering Fields stamp set and the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper, both items are from Sale-a-bration. For every $50 you spend you can choose anything in the Sale-a-bration catalog. Three items are limited until 2-15-16 and we will get three more to replace those.
Here they are coloring their flowers for their notepads.
Adhesive for sale. And we can't forget Prize Patrol. We were so busy I forgot to give everything away. They might just make it in their orders! Shh, don't tell them.
Here is Patty doing a selfie with my dog, Jesse! So funny, usually Jesse turns his head when she gets her phone out.
Looks like he is going to kiss her.....Nope, just sniffing her head!

Thank you Patty Bennett for taking all the photos at my New Catalog Party on Saturday. I always forget to take photos........I'm also happy that Patty got to be here when I reached my goal! She is my BIGGEST cheerleader.

Thank you also to all the people who came. I appreciate you all so much!

New Catalog Party

These are the Make n takes we will be doing today.

First up is the Bloomin' Love Heart and the Sale-a-bration, Botanical Gardens Vellum Stack. You can get the Vellum FREE with a $50 order. Or maybe you might like:
To make this Notepad from one of our Clear Mount Stamp Cases. I used a 7" x 10 1/2" piece of the Wild Flower Fields Designer Series Paper to go inside the clear plastic where the stamp label usually goes. The Flowers are from Flowering Fields and both are Sale-a-bration FREE items. I used my Wink of Stella and re-inker to color the flowers. More on this to come.

The inside is where the notepad goes. Added some Lost Lagoon cardstock, 2" X 5" wrapped it along the top and back where the Staples logo is. Then added a 3/4" strip of the Designer Series Paper.  I used Tear and Tape to adhere the notepad to the stamp case. Finished it off with a ribbon. This ribbon is retired.

Thursday Challenge for Create with Connie and Mary #390

So the Challenge for this week is using, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon and Real Red. I probably would have never used these 3 colors together, but you know what? It works! Did you know, you can play along? Check it out here: http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/

My card base is 4 1/4" x 11" in Real Red. Next layer is the Lost Lagoon, 4" x 5 1/4", which I ran through the Big Shot with the Confetti Embossing Folder. Why have I NOT used this embossing folder before now? I love it! The folder has an oval section that is not embossed. I thought the Lots of Labels would fit perfectly in the center and it does.

The sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration set, Botanicals for You, the flowers are from the Grateful Bunch Bundle ( stamp set with matching punch)  in the Occasions catalog. And you know I "winked" the flowers with Stella, right? Glitter without the mess! Yes, please! I finished off the card with some It's My Party Enamel Dots and some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. You might notice that I doubled the baker's twine. I do the same thing with Linen Thread.
Ok, so now its your turn. Check out the challenge here: http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/

Stampin' Up! Only Valentine Card

This weeks challenge was a Valentine Card. You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com

I started off with a Wisteria Wonder card base cut at, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Then, because I wanted to watercolor a bit, I used a piece of Shimmery White cardstock cut at, 4" x 5 1/4".
Fun Fact: Did you know that you can use Shimmery White cardstock in place of Watercolor Paper? I wouldn't use it all the time, but I wanted to heat emboss those flourishes from Timeless Textures, and you can emboss on the Shimmery White cardstock easier than on Watercolor paper.

I first punched the two opposite ends with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. I embossed my flourishes with VersaMark and White Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool. Then using my Blender Pen, Wisteria Wonder Ink, I just swished right a crossed at an angle onto my Shimmery White Cardstock. The ink resisted where ever it was embossed. Then I went back in and added the dark circles and dots that were stamped off first.

Then I stamped the heart from Bloomin' Love stamp set and cut it out (sorry no punch or framelits). That scalloped piece is Elegant Eggplant. I found that edgelit in the Cutie Pie Thinlits set. Added my Pearls and used my Wink of Stella on all the flowers and leaves. I even put a bit in the corners where it was punched. We do have a framelit for the banner, its in the Large Numbers Set.

Don't forget, you can play along too: http://suochallenges.com
