Last Day for 25% off Selected Stamps, Joy to the World Card

This is another great card design by Jenn Gulich.
We used the Merriest Wishes and Tin of Tags stamp sets, along with the Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack.
I love the simplicity of this card. Get out your Circle Punches, we used:
3/4", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" 1 3/4" and 2".

We finished off the card by adding some Linen Thread wrapped around the first layer 3 times. Then added it to a Crumb Cake Card Base.

Supply List:

Cutting Guide:

5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
4" x 5 1/4" Crumb Cake Cardstock
Scraps of Whisper White Cardstock

Today is the last day to take advantage of the Selected Stamp Sets that are 25% off.

Year end closeout sale coming December 1st! Watch for it. We won't be able to see the list until the 1st.

Be Joyful Shaker Card

This was one of the cards we made while on our Cruise. Jenn designed some awesome projects that I will be sharing with you this week.
Have you used the Merriest Wishes stamp set with matching Merry Tags Framelits yet? This makes a stunning shaker card. The Gold Embossing, Gold Doily and Cherry Cobbler really compliment each other.
The Stripped paper is from the Presents and Pinecones Designer Series paper.

To make the shaker part is easy:

Die cut the Tree with Emerald Envy cardstock, the Window Sheet from the ornament die (also in this set) and die cut a 2 3/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies in cherry Cobbler. Adhere your Window Sheet to the Tree being careful to get adhesive around the tree and not inside. Next use the Foam Strips around the Window Sheet. Put all of your "shaker" pieces on the Cherry Cobbler Circle. We used the Gold Mica Flakes from the Mica Flakes Trio Pack (page 41). Take off the release tape on the Foam Strip and carefully center it onto the Cherry Cobbler Circle. Press to make sure you have a good hold. Then layer shaker onto a Gold Metallic Doily. Add a bow using the 3/8" Cherry Cobbler Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack and attach with a Glue Dot.
Emboss the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder, then add your strip of Designer Series Paper, and finally your shaker piece. I added a few Gold Metallic Shapes around the sentiment. I really love how that looks. This is all mounted on a Thick Whisper White card base.

Supply List:

Cutting Guide:

5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Thick Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
4" x 5 1/4" Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
2" x 4" Presents and Pinecone Designer Paper
Scraps of Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy

You only have more day to take advantage of the Selected Stamp Sets that are 25% off. You can place your order HERE!

Jar of Love Tags, Grandkids & Fur Babies (what a combo) LOL!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had our kids over and a nice dinner. I bought a new deck of cards and my daughter and I taught my grandkids how to play Kings in the Corner. Have you ever played that game? I haven't for a long time.

The girls are playing with "slime" that we just made. Yuck! Not sure why they wanted to make it........ Borax is the "magic" ingredient. We googled "slime" and found the recipe.
And here are my handsome little (ok, I guess they aren't so little any more) devils. Got to love those dimples!

And here is my tag. I saw something similar on Pinterest (no surprise there...) and changed it up to make it my own.
The Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper makes these tags so fun. You can see I  just fussy cut the sheet with the Gingerbread men, candy canes, and candy. The peppermint candy I used my 1/2" circle punch. Use the Clear Wink of Stella to make the candy glisten. Also cut the candy cane hearts for the base of my decoration.
Using the Foam Adhesive Strips makes these a breeze to put together. I added 3 items that I cut out, some of the White Mica Flakes (this comes in a trio Pack, with gold and green along with the white), and sequins from the Fancy Frost Sequin pack, just add a few into the center of the jar BACK, then carefully take off the release tape on the adhesive strips and adhere to the jar front. (You should have already attached the Window Sheet to your jar FRONT.) I stamped and die cut the handles, added one to the front and another one for the back. Once you've done that part, you get to decorate your jar.

I've used a few different items to decorate. Just start layering, I'm going to make a few different that these. What items would you use to decorate your tags?

Pretty Pines Thinlits, used Red Glimmer Paper to cut a bunch of them out
Holly Berry Happiness stamp set
Holly Berry Builder Punch (get both and save 10%)
Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine (comes in a two pack, Real Red and Red Metallic Thread on white)

Aren't they pretty? I was quite pleased with myself when I finished a few of them. I put a couple of them on the little gifts I made for my Gingerbread Friends. I will show you those on Monday.

Supply List:
I forgot to add the Everyday Jars Framelits, #141490

And don't forget about this fabulous sale!

And here are a couple more pics of my fur babies. Jesse is doing really well playing with Joey. I think we might be making progress on the potty training today. Keeping my fingers crossed.......

Hard to see because of the light, but Joey climbed on top of Jesse for a warm spot to sleep. Jesse thinks he's a lap dog (even before we got Joey). Of course they both wanted to be on my lap.

Have a fabulous week-end!

Season of Gratitude, October Paper Pumpkin Kit

WOW! I love this kit. Why did I wait so long to use it? The December kit is to die for.I've got a few alternatives that I want to try. But now I'm caught up with my thank you's. They went out today.

You know all those leaves that you punched out of the embossed white piece? I couldn't bare to see them go to waste, so I sponged them, winked them and attached them to the sentiment. Since I have a ton of the Metallic Enamel Shapes, why not add a few if them as well?
The only other thing I added was some micro beads in with the sequins. You can see them in the bottom leaf. I used both my Clear and Gold Wink of Stella to add some splattering.

Thank you to all my wonderful customers who keep me going by supporting my Stampin' Business. I truly appreciate all of you.

Here are the additional products I used:

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving,

Stitched Shapes Framelits/On The Home Front

Get them while you can! Stampin' Up! has almost sold out. In two weeks we have sold what they thought would be enough till the end of the year. WHAT? Yes, these babies are flying out the door. So, if you want them, you will need to order them before Monday, November 21st at 9am Pacific time, or you will have to wait. Stampin' Up! doesn't have an a date on when the next shipment will arrive (they are turning off the number on Monday) so they won't be able to be ordered until the new shipment comes in.

You can still order these stamps set and receive 25% off until the end of November. These Framelits are a most have in my opinion. They coordinate perfectly with the Layering Ovals, Circles and squares.

You can click on any of these photos and it will take you to my Online Store.

In other news, things are finally progressing at home.

All of the downstairs is painted
Hardwood floors are sanded, re-stained and complete
Furniture all moved back into the house and back in place
China hutch is all put back, everything washed and clean
All of our photos/pictures are now on the walls (was like pulling teeth to get my hubby to help get this done.....)
New area rug for family room, (from Overstock.com)
New Couch and Love Seat (Home Interiors Furniture)
New side table for hallway, (not in photo)

Now I am adding all the finishing touches. Here's a peak at the family room.
You can see a little of the hardwood floors, they are dark now. The rug really makes the room pop!
Doesn't this rug remind you of Stampin' Up!? The couches are dark brown. And of course Jesse had to photo bomb my photo.......
