Diaper Cake with Matching Card!

As I was getting ready to leave for convention, my daughter asks me to make a "diaper" cake for a friend of hers who was having a baby shower. She brought over all the stuff and I said I would work on it that evening and she could help me finish. Once I got started, I decided to just finish it, so I could work on my convention stuff. It didn't take me long and I thought the new pennant die would work perfect. Her colors were purple and turquoise. Wisteria Wonder & Pool Party were almost a perfect match!
I used the Alphabet Simple Letter dies to cut out the letters and embossed them with the new Stripes embossing folder. Embossed the pennants with the Perfect Polka Dots folder and then sponged everything. Strung the pennants with White Bakers Twine. The ribbon is from the "M" store. I didn't have anything wide enough to cover up the rubber bands that are used to roll up the diapers.
Of course we had to have a card to go with the diaper cake.
Here is what I used:
Stamps: Pennant Parade
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Subtles Collection, Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder
Punches: Petite Pennants Builder, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Window Word
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots
Other: Subtles Brads, White Bakers Twine.
My daughter said , it was the hit of the party! They are fun to make, just not when you are getting ready for convention..........
