Christmas Stocking! Another Sneak Peek!

I won first place with my Christmas stocking at Patty's, Luv 2 Stamp meeting last Saturday. Now you might say, where did you get that stocking pattern from? Well, funny you should ask. On September 1st you can get this die too! Yes, a stocking die! So much fun. The die cuts out the stocking, cuff, toe and heel. And if thats not enough.......there is also a coordinating die that has a Candy Cane, Christmas Tree, Holly Leaf & 2 Ornaments. Can you imagine the possibilities?
For this stocking I used my sewing machine with no thread and "sewed" all around the stocking, then took some Cherry Cobbler & White Bakers twine and did a blanket stitch. I think when Patty emailed all of us that she was having a Stocking contest, I couldn't sleep (which is usual for me) and I was thinking how could I make mine different. Also, ever since convention, I've been wanting to make those medallions that they had all over and in the new catalog. I just learned a new way to make the medallions and I will be doing a tutorial in the next week or so. I've put them on everything.........
You might notice the Cherry Cobbler cuff is embossed, (click on the photo to see it better). This is a new embossing folder called Snow Burst. Its in the new Holiday Mini. Yikes so many awesome products in this mini.
I also used the Doily Triple Layer Punch. Looks like a snowflake, doesn't it?
I'm off to pick my sister up at the air port. My niece and her just drove from Ohio to Los Angeles. My niece has a job at Disneyland, so Tracey is flying up here, (Northern California) for a week visit.
