Christmas Faux Tearing

Thought I would switch gears and do a Christmas card using this technique and some older stamps. The "saying" is one of the "Single" stamps you can get from the Seasonal Sayings Stamp set. So, if you only like one or two of the stamps in that set, you can get them separately. Yeah Stampin' Up!
So Cherry Cobbler & Lucky Limeade are my colors today. Also got out a couple of stamp sets that haven't seen ink in a very long time. Lovely as a Tree & Delightful Decorations. Its hard to see in this photo but, I daubed Champagne Shimmer paint onto the stamp after I inked it up. All so added some to my strip on the left side. I used the tip of the single tree to may my branches on top. Tip: I wanted to use the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, but its white and Cherry Cobbler, I'm using Vanilla; so what I did was take my sponge and Crumb Cake and "dirtied" it up a bit. Now the Bakers twine doesn't stand out like a sore thumb......

Here is a side view. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake as well as the ornaments.
 Here is what I used:

Lovely as a Tree, # 115026 Wood Mount
Delightful Decorations, #127787 Clear Mount
Seasonal Sayings, #132310 Clear Mount, (this is the single stamp item number)
