Diaper Cake Gift

I went to a Baby Shower this past week-end and made a "diaper cake" for my gift.
Here is the whole cake. I used 108 diapers. The center is 4 receiving blankets rolled up. I rolled up each diaper and used a rubber band to keep it rolled up. You need 3 REALLY BIG rubber bands to hold each layer together, then the ribbon hides it. She should be able to use most of the diapers. I used Pampers diapers, they were the least expensive. (if you can call $25, least expensive......glad I don't have to buy them...).

Did a couple of fabric flowers, ( you can view my video HERE on how to make the fabric roses) along with some card stock flowers. I love that we have all those scallop punches now. They make great flowers or centers for the flowers.

This is the middle "cake". I hot glued the flowers to the diapers.

This is the bottom layer. I used the Flirtatious Fabric & the small green flowers are from the Essentials Designer Fabric. Also made one satin flower with some fabric I had left over from something else. The leaves are from the Blossom Petals Builder Punch. I sponged them all and cupped each leaf. The ribbon is from Costco. These "diaper" cakes are really fun to make. The last one I made, I die cut the babies name. This time they aren't sure what her name will be.
