Stampin' Up! Chalk Talk Birthday Card

It seems I've been finding a lot of cards to case on Pinterest lately. The card I saw used circles, (I'm using Hexagons) they used a Christmas tag, as it was a Christmas card. So here is what my card looks like. Its funny how I was going to case it just as it was and it ended up completely different. I first made this card for a friends birthday (hi Sharon) and then I liked it so much I thought that my Stamp Club Gals would like it too!
I decided that the hexagons wouldn't be all straight and perfect and kind of tilted a bit. Embossed the Raspberry Ripple cardstock with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I used a small hole punch to punch a hole for the Linen Thread to go through. Stamped my tag from Chalk Talk (bundle, stamp set and matching Framelits) and tied it to the Linen Thread. Made an insert for the envelope with the Envelope Framelits, oh and added some Candy Dots at the bottom. Done!

So I hope Sharon likes her card and my Stamp Club Gals do too! I forgot to add that I used the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper.
