Silly Rudolf Reindeer

I saw these cute candy canes on Melissa Banbury's blog and knew right away I was going to make a bunch of them.  My grandson stays with me on Thursday, so we got busy making them. He is taking them to pre-school on Monday. Anthony punched everything out, and I did the rest. We changed it up a bit. Googly Eyes (left over from Halloween 2012), Red Glimmer Paper for his nose, and I used the leaves on the Bird Punch, much easier than the Little Leaves Sizzlits.
I've had this tin (from Target) a couple of years. Put some dried peas in the bottom to hold up the candy canes.

We stamped a tag using the Christmas Messages stamp set, punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch and added a few stars.

Here is a close up. Pretty silly Reindeer aren't they?
Here is what you need:
Bird Punch-antlers, Soft Suede
Large Oval-face, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla
Small Oval-mussel, Soft Suede
1/2" Circle-nose, Red Glimmer Paper
Googly Eyes (or you can use a black marker like Melissa did)
Glue Dots
Candy Cane
This is how you put the pieces together. I also added another Large Oval to the back before I glued it to the candy cane. I used glue dots to attach to the candy cane, and sponged everything before putting it together. So what do you think? Do you like the Googly Eyes and Red Glimmer Nose? Thank you Melissa for this FABULOUS idea!
