Petal Parade Sale-a-bration Box

This box was so much fun to make. I was going to share with our group on Skype this morning, but Skype was not cooperating. This projects combines, Petal Parade (SAB stamp set, FREE with a $50 order, starting January 28th-March 31st), Fringe Scissors, and Kraft Gift Boxes. I stamped the "half" flower along all of the edges in Silver Encore Ink. Tied it up with our Silver Ribbon.
I'm sure you are dying to know how I did the "flower". I had some Mylar paper left over from Christmas, and thought it would make a great Fringe Flower Bow. This paper is the same size as a sheet of tissue paper. I kept folding it in half until I had about 2" left. Then I used the Fringe Scissors to cut about 3/4 of the way up on this strip. With the Mylar I had to use clothes pins to keep the folded edges even, because its so slippery. Then I took the largest Starburst Framelit and die cut it from Basic Grey cardstock. Put a big glob of hot glue in the center. Start rolling up your paper till you have about an inch in diameter and set in the center of the hot glue. Then start adding more glue, then your paper, until you have used up all of your paper. Then fluff.

You can see the silver stamping here.

I added the tags with more Silver Ribbon, some Rhinestones and a rose with the Spiral Flower Die.  (you can see this POST to see how I did the flowers). Hot glued the rose to the tag. I also used the Apothecary Framelits to die cut the middle tag and the Scalloped Tag Punch the bottom tag. This is by far one of my MOST favorite items in the Occasions catalog.

You can see that the Fringe Flower sits up a bit and is NOT glued to the box.

I added a clothespin so it can be used over and over again. I saw this on Pinterest, and thought it was genius! Such a great way to recycle your bows, especially after you take the time to make them.
Here is what I used to make this box:

Kraft Gift Box
Petal Parade stamp set (SAB)
Fringe Scissors
1/4" Silver Ribbon
Starburst Framelits (or anything round, even a doily)
