Just Sponge It: Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die Meets Heart Framelits Die

Today I'm showing you the card that Patty Bennett designed for Lisa and I to make for our get together this week. I never thought to use the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die and then die cut, that piece with the Hearts Framelits....so clever! And do you see the Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum over the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack? Is that a GREAT idea or what?

Patty had the Real Red Hexagon Hive already cut out for us so we glued that to a piece of copy paper, then glued the other dsp pieces down.

Then we die cut the Heart with the Heart Framelits and glued that piece to the Vellum layer. Also when you adhere the vellum you want to place your adhesive so it won't be seen. So I added a couple of strips of snail under where the heart was going. Make sense? Then we finished off the card with the Just Sayin', love ya, that was die cut with the matching Word Bubbles Framelits.
