Today we are having a "Virtual" online meeting with the Luv2stamp Group. So excited to hear our "guest speakers", Gloria Plunkett and Mellisa Kerman. For all of us who sign up for the meeting, Patty Bennett sends us a packet of items. This month our theme is the Adventure Bound dsp stack and the Adventure Awaits stamp set. So we purchase the stamp set and the dsp ahead of time. Then we use them with the packets Patty sent us to make 3 projects. I don't know about you, but this stamp set is hard for me to use. So this really took my "out" of my comfort zone. Check out what I did.
The stamps that come in this set are really big, and to me have odd sayings. So, what do you think? They were all really pretty simple to do. On one of the tags Patty sent I used only part of the sentiment. You can see in the photo on the left what the whole stamp looks like. I put a sticky note over the part I didn't want to use and inked up the stamp, took off the sticky note and stamped in on my tag. Then I took a piece of the 1 1/4" Burlap ribbon and cut off the sides and pulled the threads, then tied in a knot and stuck it down with a glue dot to the tag.
