Cased Card from Stampin' Success, Card #2

So, if you read my post from the 19th you already know what a "cased" card is and what Stampin' Success is. If you click on the cased card it will take you to that  post.

This card is 3" x 6" (finished) and uses the Fabulous 4 Stamp Set and the Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper (dsp for short). I know you're thinking, isn't that paper for "babies"? Since that's what the name implies.......well not for this card. Take a look.

My card is on the right, the left side is the card from Stampin' Success. I pretty much kept this one the same. Same stamp set, same package of Designer Series Paper, but.........I just used different pieces from the same package of paper and used Hello Honey Ink instead of the Lost Lagoon ink. Oh, I used the Gold Baker's Twine instead of Silver Baker's Twine.
I cut each strip, 3/4" and laid them at an angle on a piece of Whisper White, 2 2/4" x 5 3/4' and cut off the long pieces with my paper cutter. Make sure you add your Gold Baker's Twine BEFORE you adhere to the Sahara Sand base. The sentiment was really easy to stamp at the top.

So how did I do for this one? Why don't you "case" a card and comment below. How did you do on your "case"? Email me with photos, I might put them on my blog (with your permission of course!). Cindee@pacbell.net. Heck there might even be some "blog candy".

Here is what I used for my card:

  1. I think you did a perfect job "caseing" (is that a word?) the card.
