Be Joyful Shaker Card

This was one of the cards we made while on our Cruise. Jenn designed some awesome projects that I will be sharing with you this week.

Have you used the Merriest Wishes stamp set with matching Merry Tags Framelits yet? This makes a stunning shaker card. The Gold Embossing, Gold Doily and Cherry Cobbler really compliment each other.

The Stripped paper is from the Presents and Pinecones Designer Series paper.

To make the shaker part is easy:

Die cut the Tree with Emerald Envy cardstock, the Window Sheet from the ornament die (also in this set) and die cut a 2 3/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies in cherry Cobbler. Adhere your Window Sheet to the Tree being careful to get adhesive around the tree and not inside. Next use the Foam Strips around the Window Sheet. Put all of your "shaker" pieces on the Cherry Cobbler Circle. We used the Gold Mica Flakes from the Mica Flakes Trio Pack (page 41). Take off the release tape on the Foam Strip and carefully center it onto the Cherry Cobbler Circle. Press to make sure you have a good hold. Then layer shaker onto a Gold Metallic Doily. Add a bow using the 3/8" Cherry Cobbler Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack and attach with a Glue Dot.

Emboss the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder, then add your strip of Designer Series Paper, and finally your shaker piece. I added a few Gold Metallic Shapes around the sentiment. I really love how that looks. This is all mounted on a Thick Whisper White card base.
