Balloon Adventure Shaker Card

Christmas Eve my son proposed to his girlfriend. So excited! No details as to when they will be getting married yet.

So this is the card I made for them. I had just received this bundle, ( ok, so it was my second pre-order......don't judge....have you seen the Occasions Catalog?) Balloon Adventure stamp set and Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits. You can purchase as a bundle (and save 10%) on January 4th. It's only a week away.......just sayin'!

My colors are Island Indigo (card base), and Bermuda Bay, with a splash of Gold Glimmer Paper. See that pretty little bow? That is from the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishment Kit on page 9. I love the Ombre Ribbon in the kit and it was the perfect little something, something for my card. And, did you know that this set coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet Punch? That's what I used to punch the vellum with the heart. 

The shaker part is:
Sprinkles Embellishments (page 32) sequins and little pearls
Gold Mica Flakes (from the Holiday Catalog)
Gold Glitter

I'm going to try and do a video this week-end. This bundle is so easy to work with. Wait until you see what else you can do with this die.

Cutting Guide:

4 1/4" x 11" Scored at 5 1/2" Island Indigo cardstock
3 3/4" x 5 1/2" Bermuda Bay cardstock
3 1/8" x 4 5/8" Window Sheet, Thick Whisper White cardstock
Scraps of Gold Glimmer Paper and Island Indigo
