Detailed Dragonfly/2017 Occasions & Sale-a-bration Kick-off Party

Boy, after the initial glitch with the Stampin' Up! Website, you all are loving the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. It seems that each catalog gets better and better. Thank you for all your orders.

Now on to this fabulous (if I can say so myself.....) card. This is one of the cards my Stamp Club Gals did this week. Once again I am using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits cut out with the Silver Foil Paper. The background I used the new Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter to blend the colors. Really this is a five minute card.

I've been using this layout quite a lot. I like how you have a border on each side and the Watercolor Paper goes all the way to the top and bottom. Do you get stuck on a particular technique, or card layout?

To finish off my card, I added a few of the Metallic Shapes and the 1/8" Bermuda Bay Ribbon. The sentiment comes in the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. You can get the stamp set and the dies as a bundle and save 10%. I'm telling you, you will NEED/WANT this bundle.
