Basket Bunch Thank You Card, Luv2Stamp Blog Hop

This is one of the cards I made for the live presentation on Saturday for the Luv2stamp group. It was such a fun meeting. I was lucky to have a few people from our group here. Thank you to Kim, Leticia and Clarice for coming and sharing the day with me.

This was my first project, Easter Card made into a thank you card. Can you really have enough thank you cards? I never have enough.

I die cut the Stitched Circle from Watercolor Paper and stamped the bunny from Basket Bunch and stamped with Black Archival Ink. You need to use this ink so it doesn't smear. The eggs, carrot and chick were all stamped on Watercolor Paper, colored and die cut. I love that Stampin' Up! has coordinating dies for many of their stamp sets, (and you can save 10% if you purchase the bundle). I used my Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter to color in all of the images. My bunny is a little mottled, not totally happy with the way he turned out.
To finish off the Bunny, I  added some of the grass (also in the Framelits) in Old Olive and then layered him onto one of the Layering Circle Framelits in Old Olive. I only added liquid glue (Tombow #110755) to the bottom of the grass so I could bend the blades back a little and tuck in the eggs and carrot. I put a 2 1/2" piece of the Succulent Garden Designer Paper on the left side of my Tip Top Taupe Card Base.

The sentiment is also in the Basket Bunch set. I stamped in black and punched with the Classic Label Punch. I cut off the point on the right.

To finish my card off I added some of the Sweet Sugarplum Ribbon from the Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
