Perfect Mix Thank You Cards

I'm thinkin' that the Perfect Mix stamp set and the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper go together like oven mitts and a mixing bowl, what about you?

These two cards went to two dear friends who came to my class last month and brought me some beautiful flowers for my birthday. Judy is a Culinary Arts Teacher at our local college (and used to teach at the High School) and Kayla is her granddaughter who cooks and bakes like her grandma. So this was the perfect stamp set to use for them.
I stamped the oven mitts and bowl on Watercolor Paper and colored them in with my Watercolor Pencils. And guess what? The Watercolor Pencils are back in stock, at least for a little while, so get them while you can. Then I fussy cut them and mounted them on a Stitched Shape Framelit Circle. I added some of the Sprinkles Embellishments to the batter in the bowl. The top card I used the Stitched Pacific Point Ribbon For the bottom card I used the Metallic Ribbon you can get as one of the FREE items with a $50 during Sale-a-bration (till March 31st).

You will notice that the top card I stamped the sentiment and made it into a banner. When I stamped it directly on the card, I stamped it crooked.....which is pretty much my MO.....lol! So to fix it I stamped on a scrap piece of paper and made it into a banner. Bam! All fixed!
