Happy 8th Birthday Anthony!

As soon as I saw this set I knew I would be making my grandson a card for his birthday.


This was such a fun shaker card to make for Anthony (my grandson). The look on his face when he opened the card was priceless. I stamped the monster onto Shimmer White Cardstock, which is a good alternative to Watercolor Paper. Then watercolored with Bermuda Bag and Basic Grey (for his pads). Used my Project Life Pen to color in his horns and claws. Still working on my water coloring skills. I used the Sprinkles Embellishments for the shaker part and also punched with the Sprinkles Punch using the Sale-a-bration Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper ( now sold out.....insert sad face).

The Balloons are from Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits. They are also die cut with the SAB Glimmer Paper.

Inside the card I die cut the number 8 ( Large Number Framelits) since he turned 8 on the 20th and used the Candle Border Punch for the candles. I added some Gold Glimmer paper to the back for the candle flames and a piece of Peekaboo Peach for the candles.

And here is the Birthday Boy with his sisters, Jocelyn and Gianna, while they were waiting for their Pizookies.

I was sitting right next to him for dinner, so my photo is crooked. He couldn't wait for his Pizookie at BJ's.
