Happy Birthday Patty!

Sorry I have been MIA this week. Seems I'm in a funk that I just can't shake......I have many things to show you.
The "Last Chance" list comes out Wednesday. You know what that means, right? All of the stamp sets and accessories that are being discontinued will be on that list. Stampin' Up! will update everyday. The stamp sets are made in house, so those will be available until the 30th of June, but all the accessories will be on a "first come, first served" basis. So if you see something on that list that you want, you better order ASAP! I would be happy to help you, but to make sure you get the items you want, I would suggest you go to my online store here to place your order. You can also go tothat same address to see the updated lists. So check back on June 1st for the "Last Chance" list.
Okay, now onto some stamping: I made this card for Patty Bennett's Birthday that was this week-end.
We were first showed this card at Leadership in January by Bonnie Thurber from Stampin' Up! and I forgot about it until someone else posted a card like it. Its super simple to make. Start off with a piece of card stock cut at 3" x 12", fold in half. Using your Piercing Tool make a hole through both layers of the card, in the center about 2" from the openend. You can see I put a pencil mark and then pierced both layers.
Then using your cutter, cut on the diagonal from one corner to the hole you just made on the card front only.
Do the same thing on the back of the card. So you have cuts on opposite sides. Really, this is super easy......
This is what you end up with.
You can stamp or wheel inside corner, as it will show when the card is closed.
Decorate the front and you are done!
I used the level 2 hostess set, Love & Care, #123022 (clear mount), in the Summer mini. I'm loving this set. I got it for FREE because I recruited one gal in January (a special promotion SU had going on in January). Another "perk" for being a SU demonstrator! Then I used my markers to color in the flower with Regal Rose and the stem with Old Olive, I stamped it once (full strength) and then 2 more times without inking up the stamp again. Also inked up my stamp and stamped again and cut it out, mounted it with dimensionals to cover up my hole.
