Check Out What I used for My "Vases"!

As I was looking through my stash of stuff, I found an International  Coffee can & one of those bottles that has the coffee already made. They come in a 4 pack. I can't remember the name. I don't drink coffee, but my husband does. Anyway, I thought they would make great "vases" for my Pin Wheels.

For the can I covered it in the Polka Dot Parade dsp (same as the Pin Wheels, just different colors) Stamped the "This Too Shall Pass" stamp (from the stamp set, From My Heart) on Whisper White with Daffodil Delight, die cut it out with the Labels Collection Framelits. I first added the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon and then the label. I made the Fabric Rose from the Essentials Designer Fabric. Cut a couple of freehand leaves, done. Pretty simple. I did attach the flower with hot glue.

Here is a close up.

Here is the "bottle" vase.  I filled both containers with dried beans. For this one, I used the Friendship stamp from the same set. Stamped it twice, Rich Razzleberry & Daffodil Delight, then cut the banner from the Daffodil and attached with dimensionals to the Razzleberry piece. Instead of wrapping ribbon around the bottle, I used the Floral District Fabric. The Fabric Rose is from the same fabric collection. Attached the rose with hot glue. Did you notice, my Pin Wheels just got a little fancier? Double Pin Wheels!

Here is a close up.
These little "vases" were really fun to make. I had them setting out on my counter where the food was for my Open House, that I didn't take any photos of.......what was I thinking?? Oh that's right, I wasn't......grumble, grumble, grumble.......
