Quick & Cute Class Cards and Scissor Charms

Yesterday I had my Quick & Cute Card Class. I had three gals come. We had such a great time stamping together. Thanks to Susan, Carol & Alyse for coming.
So much Fun!

These are the scissor charms I made for each of them. I used the "Best of Flowers" stamp set.

To make the charms here is what I did:
Pick out 3 colors of re-inker, grab a couple of baby wipes and fold in half. Using your re-inker, make a 2" line of each color right next to each other. Then "wipe" your baby wipe onto Glossy cardstock (this is on the retirement list). I did all different patterns, plaid, wavy and straight. I wish I had taken a photo of each piece. Then using Black Stazon, I stamped the flowers onto the glossy card stock. Punched out the image using the 1" circle punch. Add a little Crystal Effects onto your flatten bottle top and then your stamped image. Then fill in the top with Crystal Effects. Let it dry over night. I used my Crop-o-dile to punch the whole for the chain.
I totally cased this card from Patty Bennett who cased it from Connie Babbert. I changed the saying. I would have never put these colors together. But now I LOVE them together. Pool Party, Lucky Limeade & Daffodil Delight! Betsy's Bloom, Made for You & Papillon Potpourri  are the stamps we used. Made for You (is on the retirement list). Stamp your image THEN run it through your Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing folder. Easy peasey!

I stamped off the large flower and then punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

For this card we used Just Believe & Petite Pairs stamp sets. Just Believe is on the retirement list. Also the First Addition dsp. We stamped the image with Versamark onto the dsp and embossed with black embossing powder. I made a oval templete using my Oval Framelits and we brayered Crumb Cake ink in the center.

Close Up.

For the last card I used retiring colors, Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze (so sad, I love Baja Breeze!) & Certainly Celery, (can't remember the last time I used that color). We just Perfectly Preserved & Made for You stamp sets. Perfectly Preserved is on the hit list too.

So  hows that for 3 Quick & Cute Cards? Remember  I've used several retired stamps for these cards. Get yours while you can. You have until June 3rd to order them.
