The first one to catch my eye was the Christmas Star. I saw this frame on the Stampin' Up! Blog. They have some awesome ideas. Click HERE to view.
Getting back to the star, I love how they made it so 3-d, just by scoring. In my mind I wanted it to be an ornament, but I didn't want the back to be exposed, so I stamped two stars and cut each one out with tabs. I put glue dots on each tab and a glue dot for the bakers twine. Edited to add: The star is about 4" in diameter.
I stamped the star in Bermuda Bay Ink. |
Here is a side view. I'm not really happy with the being able to see inside. So I tried to use Dimensionals instead of the tabs. |
I've added double dimensionals on each point. |
Thanks to Patty Bennett for this suggestion. It worked! |
This star I did in Cherry Cobbler. I couldn't get a good side view of this star. I'm not sure which way is better, but this way is faster....... |
You can find all of these products in my Online Store HERE!
Love it! TFS
