Good As Gold Hybrid Cards

I thought today I would show you a couple of cards that use the Good As Good Card Kit (FREE with a $50 during SAB, only a few more days left). When we get these kits, I always think I have to make them just like the directions say. So today I thought I would challenge myself and go out of my "box". This is what I came up with.

 I have to say its a real challenge to get a good photo when you're using the gold foil or Tangerine Tango. So what I did was take one card and cut in half on the fold line. Added one piece to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock. I took one of the Foil Envelope inserts and cut 3 banners (I know, it was hard to do....., this is also a SAB item), and 2 from Bermuda Bay. I used the Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine to string the banners, added a few Gold Sequins. Then I used the for you, and the gold banner from the kit.

 I have a tip for you; I tied the bow on the left, stuck a glue dot under it, and used the 2-way glue pen to glue the Baker's Twine down, then made another bow and added it at the other end with a glue dot. Add a dimensional to the banner pieces, and place right on top of the Baker's Twine.

 Now, remember I still have the other half of the card left over. So I took that half and cut it in half. I glued those pieces to Black cardstock cut at 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". I stamped 2 of the flowers and cut them out. (I know cut out.......), added 3 Bitty Butterflies punched from the Gold Foil Envelope liner, and the gold elastic cording and the thank you from the kit.

 You can see I used dimensionals on the butterflies and flowers.
Now get out your Good as Gold Kits and make those cards up.
