Back to Black Gift Certificate

I have 2 customers that give each other gift certificates for their birthdays. Since Fran's Birthday was last week, I figured I could share her card with you. I always make a "card" and not just a "gift certificate". So here is what I came up with. These certificates I've had for a long time. A former Demo gave them to me.

 I used the Back to Black dsp and my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to color in the white parts. It totally gives the paper a whole different look, don't you think?

 After I colored in the white areas, I decided to try and emboss over that. So I stamped the Blended Bloom (single stamp) with Versamark (several times), then used White Embossing Powder. Then I thought it needed a "pop" of color. This is where the Calypso Coral Blendabilities come in. I colored the center of the flowers with the Blendies.

 You can see the embossed flowers a little better in this photo.

 Then I needed a "custom" envelope to go with the card. Envelope Punch Board to the rescue! I colored in a few of the different shapes with the Blendies again!

 Here are the card measurements:

Card Base: 7 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Coastal Cabana: 3 1/2" x 8 1/4"
Back to Black dsp: 3 3/8" x 8 1/8"
