Snowflake Card

I love this die, the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. It comes with lots of other "goodies" besides the card die. This is another card we made in stamp club this month.

We used the All is Calm Specialty dsp. These colors are so soothing.......
The snowflakes are part of the die. So delicate. Tip: add a layer of wax paper between the die and the glimmer paper, run it back and forth a couple of times. If you are using cardstock or dsp, it comes out very easily, but I wanted the new Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. So worth the trouble. Also the Silver and Black Snowflake has a little hook on one of the points, I just used wire cutters to cut off the hook. Glued it on with a glue dot. You can't even tell that I cut the hook off.
You might be wondering why my card is so "short"? I turned the 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock so it went the other way.

You can see what I mean in the photo above. Now when you run it through the Big Shot, you only run it past the snowflake as the right side is ABOVE the die. If you run it all the way through you will have a crease or fold line where you don't want. After you put it through the Big Shot then score at 4" from the side that DIDN'T go through the Big Shot. Clear as mud?? Email me if you have any questions.

Here is a list of all the items I used. You can click on each one and it will take you to my Online Store, 24/7.
