I used the Christmas Bliss stamp set for the sentiment. I thought the bold letters when well with the gold star and tree.
If you look at the first photo you will see two cards, one with Gold Satin Ribbon and the other with the Gold Baker's Twine. I will tell you a little secret.......I stamped over to the left a bit too far on my first card so I had to use the Baker's Twine. But I really wanted to use the Gold Satin Ribbon. So the second card I made sure to stamp it over a bit.
All of the stars are put on with dimensionals. You know I can't have everything flat.......
So which one do you like? The Gold Satin Ribbon or the Gold Baker's Twine?
I love to read all your responses!

I can't decide which I like better!
ReplyDeleteRibbons on cards is exactly why I don't like putting them on cards...they can be a bit of a distraction to the card.
ReplyDeleteI like the gold ribbon; but I think it would look much better if you looped the ribbon UNDER the black layer, it will look a bit more polished, I think. Tying the ribbon to the side in the fold of the card looks a little sloppy.
The baker's twine is too narrow to give the card any real oomph!
I also like the idea of using the stars border punch perhaps along the left side of the card near the fold; that might look nice.
