Butterfly Basics Birthday Card

When you order this as a bundle (Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Butterflies Thinlits) you save 15%. I think this was the favorite card this month for my Stamp Club. Lots of new stuff. Do you see the tag with the greeting? That is our new Ornate Tag Topper Punch, LOVE it! I may have cased this from Pinterest but can't find it now.....

Cards that have a lot of layering on them are really hard for me to do, but I'm learning.....I think I used all the stamps in this set except two. I also used Blendibilities to color in the flowers and leaves. And what do you think about that gorgeous butterfly? I know you're probably saying, am I going to have to pick out all those little pieces? Nope!!! The magic ingredient for your Big Shot sandwich is a dryer sheet. When you peel the cardstock from the die most of the pieces come out or can easily be poked out. Really, you will be amazed at how great this works.

Here is your sandwich:

Magnetic Platform (or the one that came with your Big Shot)
Clear Plate
Dryer Sheet
Cardstock
Wax Paper
Die
Clear Plate (thank you to Lucy C)

Now before you say, those dryer sheets are expensive, go to the Dollar Store and get them. You can also get the wax paper too. You can use the dryer sheets many times before you have to throw it away.

  7. GORGEOUS! Pinned to two of my boards. Not only love the card template design, but love the colors you chose. So rich w/o being dark and heavy. TFS!
