Hey Valentine

Have you checked out the cute Valentine Stamp set called Hey Valentine on page 8 of the Occasions Catalog yet? Super cute. I couldn't wait for my grandkids to see this set. I die cut different shapes, Banner, Deco and Circle's using our Framelits. Then I used our Blendabilities to color in just a little of the stamp and added the google eyes. Top that off with a clothes pin and a bit of the Thick Baker's Twine and you have a really cute Valentine.

Here are the other stamps in this set. I saw this idea on someone's blog. If it was you, please let me know so I can link you, (of course, I can't find the blog now that I'm ready to post). I had some extra crayons to add to each of the Valentine's so the person who receives the Valentine can color it. Such a cute idea! The top Pirate one uses Party Pennants die, the fox uses the Note Tag Punch and the Birdie uses one of the framelits from the Mini Treat Bag. I used Blendabilities to color these in too! I actually cased the pink and blue one from the catalog. These use the 1 x 8 cello bags. TIP: take a 7/8" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock, fold it in half long wise and use it as a funnel to get your candy inside the bags. It really helps. I used the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine for each of these treats (page 37 of the Occasions catalog).

Now I am ready to help my grandkids make their Valentine Treats this year.
