Wine Bottle Tag

A friend of ours was having a surprise birthday party this past Saturday. So what do you get the guy that really has everything he wants/needs? A bottle of wine. Besides I found this cool way to wrap your wine bottle in a towel. While I was at Ikea, I found some towels that were perfect.

Of course I didn't take any photos of how I wrapped the bottle, but you can visit this link and get the details: http://www.onsuttonplace.com/2013/11/no-sew-wine-bottle-gift-wrap/

So here is how mine turned out. It was so easy. then I made a tag to match....
You could do this with some sparkling apple cider too! I used one pin on the backside to hold the towel together and then the ribbon to finish.
I thought this sentiment was perfect for "George". Its from the Hello Life stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.  I embossed it with gold embossing powder and used my Circle Framelits to cut out. The "70" is from Memorable Moments stamp set.
I still had some of this yummy Early Espresso Tulle from the Clearance Rack that went perfect with this towel to make the bow. I used two pieced and "poofed" (is that a word?) each loop. So instead of a card, he got the wine tag.

So check out that link. This is so much nicer than a gift bag, don't you think?
