Edited to add: It was Paula Wright at Stamping with Paula.
Where I originally saw these cute boxes. Thank you Paula!
Aren't they cute? |
Here is the box. The label is the box top. I stamped the box with one of the flowers in the Best of Flowers stamp set. The box is big enough for a gift card or a small gift. |
Here is the top of the box or lid. I stacked all of the flowers and used one of the brads that comes in the kit to hold them together. Then I ruffed them up a bit. |
Cut your cardstock at: 5 3/4" x 8 1/2". Score on the long side at:
1 1/4", 3 5/8", 4 7/8" and 7 1/4".
Flip to the short side and score at: 1 1/4".
If you are going to stamp on your box, do it now.
Cut up to the fold lines and fold with a bone folder.
Here is my template. The squiggle lines are where you put Sticky Strip. Also on the two small flaps on the OTHER side. |
You will score at the notches on all four sides. It leaves you with about a 1/2" all around. It was hard to get a good photo. Then cut up too the score lines and use glue dots to make the box top.
Now you can decorate the top of your box.
Here is what I used:
Item #131395, $12.95 (the kit comes with the stamp too!) |
Best of Flowers, #133342, $14.95. I used the single flower on the right bottom. |
