So I went from this:
Now this has worked for about 8 years or so. |
And these wire shelves are supposed to hold ribbon. Which some of them still do. Much better than having my punches in a drawer, but still not quite right...... |
And now I'm not fighting with my punches to stay on the wire shelf. |
Sits flat up against the wall next to my ink pads. I left a little room on the right for my Rhinestones, Pearls, Paper Daisies, Candy Dots Shaker Frames all in empty Stamp Cases. (I also used these cases for the Photo Polymer stamp sets. Right now they don't come in a case, but SU is changing that soon.) Also you see my Stampin' Pierce Mat. |
Right in front of my punches is my Simply Scored Board (how did I live with out this tool??) and my paper cutter. You can see my two Stack and Store Caddy I use for all my buttons, brads, etc. Love these! |
I still have a few of the old style punches. I think I see another punch holder in my future.......I love these storage pieces for my ink pads and punches. It frees up more space. I bought both holders from Stamp-n-Storage.com. They came within a week of ordering them and they have way more storage solutions. Next up, will be all my small tools, scissors, pens, pencils, bone folder, etc. I am getting a Tool Turn-about from Pampered Chef, (thank you Lisa Rhine). Its supposed to be for your kitchen, but I've heard many people use it for their stampin' stuff. |
Also, FREE markers when you sign up for My Paper Pumpkin.
My Paper Pumpkin comes right to your door every month. Inside you will find a kit with everything you need to complete (minus the adhesive) a project, cards, scrapbook, etc. Each kit you only need about 30 minutes (or less in most cases) to complete the project.
I love your photos....like you, I had an old style stamp pad storage unit (the SU version...two of them) but upgraded to the Stamp 'n Storage until during the past year and oh boy, do I ever love it! I went with the one which includes the drilled out hole for the re-inker and marker and it has sure helped me to be a lot more organized! Takes up space on the mantel (my stamp room is currently in the finished basement which has a fireplace) since I neglected to notice that it is wider than any of my shelving but that's ok, I love it and can easily reach to the top of it despite it being on the mantle. I must say they are very sturdy and well made! Have been eyeing those punch storage units but for now I have a lot of doors so am using the over the door hanging back type of storage but will be making a change from those this summer. Maybe I'll go with the Stamp 'n STorage version...they do seem great!
ReplyDeleteNow you need to show your whole entire GORGEOUS stamp room!! :) It's to die for!
