So Succulent, So Addicting.......

OMG! Makes these flowers are so addicting. They are time consuming, but so worth it. I made this one for a friend who just had her birthday.

The pot is 3 1/2" at the top and I took 3" Styrofoam ball and cut in half and hot glued to the inside of the pot. Then added moss to the ball with hot glue as well. The pot, moss and Raffia are from the Dollar Store.
Here is a top view.
Another view. You can see I did all the flowers a little bit different. Some of the bottom leaves on the Tip Top flower are bent down, while the other leaves (or petals) are curved up. You can do this with your bone folder. Just be very careful and hold each petal at the base. Time consuming, but worth it.

These are the colors I used for the Old Olive Flower, in this order, sponge Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Rich Razzleberry. The only color I sponged the tip was the Rich Razzleberry. The others I did in no pattern, just all over the petals. Succulents are all one color.
For the Sweet Sugarplum flower I sponged, Sweet Sugarplum, Crumb Cake and White Craft Ink, in that order. You can really see how uneven the sponging is on these flowers. That's how it should be. By the time you glue them together, you can't see any of the uneven sponging.
For the Mint Macaron I sponged, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Sweet Sugarplum on the tips.

I had an extra flower so I used it for a tag. The tag is 2" x 3 1/2" Whisper White. Used the Scalloped Tag Topper and the Project Life Corner Punch on the bottom. The card is super simple using the So Succulent Bundle.

This is a "must" have bundle in my book! Now all I want to do is make more flowers......
