Make a Medallion Thank You Card

This was supposed to be for the Color Fusion Blog Hop last week. Because of all my blog issues I wasn't able to participate. I was really bummed. I even had my card ready a head of time.....

This was an easy card to reproduce, and since I needed a bunch of thank you cards it worked out perfect.

This was our color palette. Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Wild Wasabi. I love these colors together.

First I colored the Lace Doilies (love these!) with a brayer and ink. I used Watermelon Wonder and our Sponge Brayer.

I had in my mind that these Medallions (FREE Sale-a-bration item), would be fun to cut in half, so that is what I did. After I stamped and die cut the medallion with the Layering Circle Framelits, I glued them together, medallion on top of the doily and then cut them. Just line up the point of the Doily on top and then on the bottom. Easy Peasy!

Now that the Medallions are done, stamp the sentiment from All Things Thanks on the 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. This is another favorite of mine. Then emboss the top layer with the Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Remember to stamp first, then emboss. Add your Medallions, one on top and the other on the bottom with Dimensionals. Now you can put the rest of the card together and add your Enameled Shape heart and the the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon.

Cutting Guide:

4 1/4" x 11" Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 5 1/2"
3 3/4" x 5" Thick Whisper White (stamp sentiment then emboss)
3 7/8" x 5 1/8" Peekaboo Peach cardstock
3" x 3" Thick Whisper White for Medallion
