Here is the other Stocking that I didn't show in my previous post. I changed a couple of things from my original Rudolf. His antlers are from the Snowflake die and his nose is made from the glitter paper instead of Cherry Cobbler card stock. I used my sewing machine to sew the two stockings together. I sandwiched in the toe from the stocking die for the ear. The nose is red glitter paper punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch. The eye is a black & white, 1" circle punches, and the antlers I trimmed to 2 branches from the Snowflake die. I added one of the Stitched Felt pieces by his ear.
I found these Strawberry Twizzlers that are individually wrapped and slip very easily into the 1 x 8 skinny bags that we now have. Normally I would put the end that you glue down so your candy won't fall out up inside my Rudolf, but than you might damage him to get the candy out. So, I sealed the bag and put it at the other end. That way you can eat the candy and still have the decoration. I used mini glue dots on each side when I stuck the candy inside Rudolf.
I can't wait to make more of these for the little ones in my family - they are so cute and easy - but I won't be stiching mine together - I'll faux stitch instead. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely ADORABLE!! you are so good!! When you stitch paper, do you use a different needle? I've heard I should have a "paper needle" and a "fabric needle".
