We made these cute Treat Boxes at one of my classes this past week-end. The roof on one side opens up so you can add your treats. The Treat Houses idea came from Donna Griffith at convention.
The Halloween box is cut from Basic Black card stock. I added a 2 1/2" strip of Frightful Sight dsp around the entire box. The cauldron is made by using the 2 1/2" circle punch and then taking a bit out of it. The legs are the Window Word Punch. Then we stamped the hat, witches feet and spider web from Cool Wicked. My favorite Halloween stamp set. The rick rack is Pumpkin Pie & Rich Razzleberry card stock and cut out with the Tasteful Trim die.
The Thanksgiving box is cut from Soft Suede card stock. I added a strip of Spice Cake fabric torn, brought the fabric up through the holes in the Spice Cake Buttons. Its tight, but you can do it. Otherwise it would have been too bulky to add the button. I used It's a Wrap Holiday for the Give Thanks & Gently Falling stamp set for the leaves. Cut them all all out and added to the box. Again I used the Tasteful Trim to cut out the scallops at the bottom in Pool Party.
For the Christmas house I cut the box out of Crumb Cake card stock and added a 2 1/2" strip of dsp from Frostwood Lodge. Under the medallion is a doily from the Pennant Die cut out with the Silver Glitter Paper. In the eves are the Holly leaves from the Stitched Felt pieces in the Holiday mini. Those are trimmed with the mini jingle bells.

They really are so neat, Cindee...
