Stamp Club Projects!

We made this Thanksgiving Treat Box and cards this month in my Stamp Club. The Girl's wanted to learn how to color using re-inkers. The Autumn Splendor is the perfect stamp set for this. First you emboss your leaf images on Water Color paper or Confetti Card Stock. I used gold for the Treat Box, and Confetti Card Stock. Then you take a couple of drops of re-inkers in Pool Party, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie & Pear Pizzazz & your Aqua Painter. You "paint" your leaves in all the different colors and its ok to go out of the lines as you will be cutting out your leaves. Cut them out after they dry, and you can use your heat tool to speed the process. Dry from the back, so you don't damage the image on the front. Cut them out and you are ready to put them on your button and medallion.
For the first card I used Block H & inked it up in Pumpkin Pie and stamped twice onto the Confetti Card Stock. This time I embossed with our new Pewter Embossing Powder (in the holiday mini). Love this color. Colored them like the leaves on the Treat Box and cut them out. Added them to my card with dimensionals. Stamped the Happy Thanksgiving from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched out with the Medium Oval Punch and the Scalloped Oval Punch in Pumpkin Pie. Added my Linen Thread. Done!
Or they could make this one using Block C. Stamped with More Mustard.
This one we stamped with Versamark and used our Pastels in all of the above colors. I seem to always use this technique when I'm doing a sympathy card. Using your sponge dauber, you just add color where you want it in a swirling motion. Easy Peasy! I added the Pumpkin Pie 3/8" Taffeta ribbon, and stamped the Give Thanks from It's a Wrap, Holiday stamp set, sponged the leaves and cut it out and used some Linen Thread to attach it to the ribbon.
