I've had several people ask me about my Medallions, (or rosettes, or lollies), so I thought I would do a little tutorial for you.
If you are going to do several of the same dsp, or card stock, you can score a whole sheet and then cut. I have a 1 1/2" x 12" of dsp (I've used Letters to Santa dsp). Score every 1/2". The Simply Scored tool is FABULOUS for this. You will need 2 pieces.
If you want a fancy edge, use any edge punch now.
This is what you will have. One long piece.

Here is a cool trick: Using your Crop-o-dial, and the smaller hole, punch a few pieces at once, until you punch the whole strip.
This is what you will have. Now glue the other ends together to make a circle.

Now using a big needle and Bakers Twine or Linen Thread, thread through all the holes. Cinch up and tie.

Now you have your Medallion. Pretty Simple!

I always punch a circle and use hot glue and adhere to the back of your Medallion. This way, it will have more surface to stick to your project.

This is the back side, with the circle attached.

Then decorate the front. Here I used the Snowflake punch. You can use buttons, other flower punches, a smaller Medallion, to top it off. You could also add glitter with the Two Way Glue Pen. The possibilities are endless!
I have to say, that now that I've done a bunch of these Medallions, I don't really need to punch the holes and run the Twine through them. Just punch out your circle, add your hot glue and carefully push your Medallion down and stick the punched circle on top. Sometimes the Medallions don't want to cooperate, and you have to fuss with them, but once you do a few, you will get the hang of it.

Thank you so much for this. It is really great and easy to follow. Going to try to make my own wreath.
