Convention.....Amazing Birthday Samples

Today I thought I would show you some of the samples from Main Stage. I believe Shelli was the one who demoed these cards. (Shelli is the Co-founder of Stampin' Up!)

 For this 4" x 4" card Shelli used Water Color Paper, re-inker and a Aqua Painter.

 I know this is bit blurry (ok, a lot blurry), but I wanted you to see how she just used part of the "Make Today Ridiculously AMAZING stamp". She just cut out the 'AMAZING" part of the stamp. So clever!

 Shelli attached the stars to two Sparklers, so cute!

 For this one I love how she layered everything and how the Vellum peaks out from behind the other banners.

 This one is a simple card, but she made it more interesting using different color markers to color the words.

 I wanted to share an amazing tip on how Shelli embossed the acetate cover to the Tag a Bag Boxes. Our Embossing Folders are just a little too short to emboss the whole cover. So what did Shelli do? She embossed one end and then flipped it to emboss the other end. You get just a little space that isn't embossed, and when you add the belly band you can't even see it. Genius!

 You can see her simple tag.

This is how she made the "feathers". Shelli used the Framelits from Flower Fair. This is one of the leaves.

 And this is how she cut the "notches" for the feathers using the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack. In the first large photo you can see the "feathers" better.

I love how she used this stamp set so differently. It is one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog, and now I have more ideas to use it.
