Tea Light Wine Glasses Using Fancy Foil Designer Vellum

I want to thank Connie Stewart for this project. When I saw her Tea Lights, I knew I wanted to make them. So I gathered my supplies, wine glasses, (of course I chose the biggest wine glass, Connie's template didn't work), heart pebbles, (from the Dollar Store), battery operated tea light and doilies from the "M" store and here is my version.
Since my glasses were bigger than Connie's (she has a template on her blog) I had to make my own. And actually, my sweet husband made the template for me. Once you get the right template, its just a matter of tracing onto our wonderful new Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and cutting it out. I glued the shade together with Sticky Strip. Snail didn't stay. For the one with the hearts I used some of our Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim and attached with snail. The stripped shade I glued (with Tombow, liquid) the Gold Sequin Trim around the top and bottom.
These Tea Lights would be so beautiful for a wedding and they don't cost a lot to make. Those doilies were only $1.50 and I bought one in pink, red and white. I purchased 2 bags of the heart pebbles, one bag of pink and and one of red, and still have many left over for more lights.

Have a GREAT week-end! Tonight we are adding a family member.......a puppy Springer Spaniel. So excited, this was my husbands Christmas present. So this week-end will be interesting. We haven't had any puppies in a long time, wish us luck......
